I know that Lotus servers are shit, and I haven't played the game in about 6 months so this may have changed, but I remember they had an EU Arena server that actually got people almost everyday. Now, for something not as bad, Schlachtfestchen. They used to have two servers, now only one (nobody played on the first one), Drink'n'Fight. Vanilla Maps + Custom Maps (they can be initiated via vote or by an admin, not in the normal rotation). Spread is always off while there is a vote at the start of every round for crits (people can vote to have crits on or off for the round and I honestly have got no idea why Valve hasn't implemented this yet). Then it has the obligatory sourcemod and a duel plugin.
Your system of banning servers seem very arbitrary judging from your current list of "banned servers". Some don't even have an explanation of why you're banning them. At this point, the site seems to be a list of servers that a "self-appointed know-it-all" has made. I would suggest on coming up with a list of specific pro's and con's and sticking to them. Just because you don't like Server "A" because they have "bad players" for example, makes your whole project bad itself. That is of course, if you're expecting others to take your whole project seriously or not. You may want to keep it to a personal project if you're going to continue down the path you've gone thus far.
That's the kind of attitude that'll get any servers you have off the list.

Eh, I just need to come up with criteria on what makes a server good or bad. I'm also kind of wishing I could restart the thread! Here's what I'm thinking: - Servers with ads that play more than once (i.e. more than when the MOTD shows up for the very first time) should not be added. - Servers with menus that constantly disrupt gameplay to the point where it is unplayable should not show up. I need to revisit the vGamer servers to see if they actually display a slot-based menu every minute - it suggests that a trivia question comes up and I'm not sure how you are meant to answer it. - Servers with administrators that are disruptive to gameplay shouldn't be added. - Servers with donor features affect gameplay should not be added. - Servers with a disabled voting system and a lack of administration should not be added. I'm thinking of adding both a changelog and list of banned servers to the front page. What server have I banned an provided no explanation for?
Current banned servers: - UGC-Gaming is not going on the list because their host names do not match their maps. If they're not going to be consistent, I can't and won't put them on my list. - Skial is obviously not going on the list. - LotusClan is not going on the list. If you have any objections to this, feel free to object. They seem really shifty and have absurd donor perks, and they used to fake player counts. - TTPN (The PONY SERVERS) I'm fair to bronies, but I expect fairness back. You pay for an advantage. - IdleServer.com is riddled with never-ending ads. I'm not sure if this is a glitch, but it happened twice. - pbfortress.com thinks you should watch an ad every time you connect and spawn. They value ads more than their players, so they're banned.

Give me good game communities guys. The more I feel like we have a good set of servers to start with, the faster I release. Gonna clean up the server listing so it fits the mentality of user-submitted servers. Servers I like so far: - Saxton Hell - SourceOp - TopNotchClan (TN) - Voogru - FirePowered - Reconcile Gaming - Prestige Gaming =(pG)= - eGO - Stop that Tank - No Heroes I'll check out FUG and that German server. Still need to check out VGamers. In the first post (which I've now edited out and put into the post above) had all the explanations that I've provided. They weren't for "shitty playerbases", so I don't know where you pulled that out of. Possibly your ass? "Self-appointed know-it-alls" probably wouldn't be straight up and give you the full details, they'd act smug and treat you like a condescending prick. Save for now, with a valid reason to be condescending since you decided to call me out for nothing, I've been straight up and collaborative with people. I'm okay with criticism, but with valid, constructive criticism. I'm not going to waste my time justifying myself to someone that is deliberately making up shit that isn't the case.

I've never played on Skial servers before, nor do I know anything about them. I just find it odd you'd not be verbose in your reasoning, especially if you are hoping for others to use your site. I'm sorry you read my constructive criticism, got the feels and decided to attack me. You say you want constructive criticism, but it's clearly evident you just want a circle-jerk. At any rate, I'll leave my critique to another project that won't die out in less than a years time.

I'll remember to respond nicely to people who start conversations by calling me a "self-appointed know-it-all". On a serious note: Skial is not going on my list because they're notorious for faking player counts and riddling their gameplay with ads that pop up more than once. I'm interested in people who want to run a TF2 server, not a shit business that is interested in turning players into cash cows. A reasonable person would ask without making accusations.

Why are you arguing semantics about you being a dick to wauterboi? If you care that much about the outcome, why not just say "right, i'm sorry, didn't mean to offend you" instead of going on this long journey that is arguing about whether you outright insulted him or were being passive-aggressive and facetious about insulting him?

Server runs both stock and custom maps of all types by player vote.
Firepowered and APP is pretty good. I already assume you have firepowered tho.
DeckOfCrits (deckofcrits.com) Disc-FF (disc-ff.com) Luigifan's x10 (https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/162.248.88.136:27015/) OzzyFurocity ozzyfurocity.net These are all servers I have in my favorites that might be appropriate. I don't think any have any donator perks except for purely cosmetic ones on Disc-FF, and premium there is gained by favoriting the server, making it free. Edit: the randomizer arena has a restricted votemenu for donators, so I'll remove it.
I can vouch for OzzyFurocity being great. As a non-furry, I didn't feel like there was very much furry stuff going on. [editline]16th July 2015[/editline] I'm feeling a bit ill, but before I go to bed late tonight, I'll make sure I check out - The Furry Pound - LvLmeup.com - DeckOfCrits - Disc-FF - Luigifan's x10 - OzzyFurocity and tag them properly. I've heard of three of these, so the fact that other people are coming up with stuff I'm not in the know about is a great thing.
Do you mind servers that aren't part of "chains"? Check out The Lions Den and Cafe of Broken Dreams if so. If not, then try SLAUGHTERHOUSE if you don't already have it.
I've been playing on The Trainyard recently. It's a no crit no spread server that runs custom maps. Its usually active on weekends.

Here's a question: Is the Sharktits trading server going to be banned? 81.30.153.200:27015
Here's a question: Is the Sharktits trading server going to be banned? 81.30.153.200:27015
Depends on what it's like when I join. If I have a problem with it, you'll know about it.
When I get home from Super Sexy Taco night with my friends, I really want to get done with the Javascript/JQuery stuff (or at least start on it) so I can throw this up and be done with all of the work needed. Like I said, I want to use this as a portfolio piece and I want to keep major work off my hands. Keep the server stuff coming.
Searching works. Stuff is uploading to my FTP and it's gonna take a little while before this subdomain gets working. (not getting the domain just yet) It'll be a beta, yo.
http://teamtrotter.waut3r5.site.nfoservers.com/index.php I haven't added the other servers yet. I'm gonna grab a glass of Coke and return shortly to do just that.. I'm also going to update the site so there's a changelog to view, and a banned server log as well. I'm also going to fix the backgrounds in the list not tiling properly.
Three new buttons are at the bottom of the footer on my test build: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/965202/ShareX/2015/07/2015-07-20_06-39-47.png[/t] What do they do? This! These will also contain reasons if I feel a server should be removed or banned. EDIT: Here's a better look at how they're used:

Pretty sure one of them is an old replay bot thingy. Also it would be neat if hiding the "24/7" tag would also hide servers with "24/7" in their name but missing from their tags.
That would be an accident on my part. I'll fix it now. [editline]20th July 2015[/editline] Some servers are "24/7" gamemodes, which aren't what the tag refers to - the tag refers to 24/7 maps. Some of them are also typos on my part.
RBTF2 aka Rocketblast's servers are pretty good from my experience. [editline]21st July 2015[/editline] you also find them with rbtf2 tag in the browser. There's multiple 24/7 servers, even for one medieval! oh, forgot to mention, active in the evening time in europe.
