Damnit, I wanted to strangify my promo awp. Oh well. They should release strangifiers only from here on out.
Does anyone know how rare the AWP and Caber are in comparison to the rest of the crate's contents? I've really wanted an AWP but they're hella expensive so I'm hoping they're just common enough that they don't cost more than like 5 keys in the future.

If you wait a month, it will be worth a tiny fraction what it's worth right now. If it was a limited crate, I'd say it would be a good idea to invest in it about a week before the crate expires, but since its a common crate, it will eventually become trade fodder like the rest of the crate contents.
Yea the sound update was weird and didn't make anything better. What was bad about the sounds before? At least walls sounded like walls and meat sounded like meat, now everything is meat
I don't even know what mail adress to use to complain to
I don't even know what mail adress to use to complain to
-console tf2 master race- no but was their any reason at all for why they changed the sounds? i get that the games 7 years old but still maybe you could try fixing some other things -cough- heavy -cough- before making minor unnecessary changes?
I still want a kill assists part to slap on my Sydney Sleeper. I use it for support, and I want kills to show that.
I still want a kill assists part to slap on my Sydney Sleeper. I use it for support, and I want kills to show that.
That's not going to happen unless they do a small-scale overhaul of the assist system. What happens is that the game only really keeps track of 4 things when looking at who gets killed by what. The person that died, the person that killed them, the weapon that killed them, and the person who did damage in the past 5 seconds but isn't the same as the person that killed them. Nowhere does the game really keep track of what weapon was used to deal that damage with. The game checks for a few more flags with this player information. Whether the killer was being healed, whether they're being boosted, and whether the dead person was debuffed. These flags take precedence over the second-to-last damage dealer, as such you'll see assists get swiped by someone who has a medic on them and so on. It's realistically possible, but the game's sourcecode may just be a sufficient spaghetti monster to prompt no one to really want to approach the kill assist system since it has "worked" to an acceptable level for the past 7 years and the only reason to really go about updating it to track kill assist weapons would be for strange-quality items. Why it's not a native counter for Jars and Battle Banners is beyond me since the game gives them precedence over other kill assists and would be relatively easy to do just like the Mediguns are treated.
The kritzkrieg counts kill assists, not healing done. Perhaps they could just use that?

The many words confused me. Sorry.
