Oh, and Lawrence Mundy. At least, that's supposed with the entire "Lawrence of Australia"
That's probably just a reference to Lawrence of Arabia
Makes sense. Alright then.
The Soldier has a fake full name. Jane Doe. It's a placeholder name used for several reasons, the most notable being an unidentified female corpse.
Sniper's full name is Mick Mundy, as shown on the box of an action figure I believe.
Heavy - Misha(Mikhail) Soldier - Jane Doe Engineer - Dell Conaguer Demoman - Tavish Degroot Sniper - (?) Mundy Medic - (there was a name that people found out inthe secret images of MtM, cant remember wich one) Scout - (?) Pyro - (?) Spy - (?) People is divided about Dick Mundy and that one name for the sniper, but i wouldn't take it as canon either, i remember that name was simply made up, Though the sniper is called "mundy" in the comics. most likely we'll never know Spy and Pyro's names though.
"Medic's" MtM name was Claude Huggins, a L4D reference. Strangely enough Claude Huggins is also supposedly the founder of Tuefort.

And I wouldn't be surprised if the Sniper was named Mick Mundy, they love making references between him and Mick Dundee. wasn't it confirmed snipers name was Mick Mundy off of some merchandise or something
It was confirmed non-canon.
While we're still about Meet the Medic... Did anyone notice that the ticket machine had a ticket number 11 in it? That means there was 10 persons that took a ticket from it. Naturally all 9 mercs took it from it, therefore one was left (I know, no-shit-sherlock -level of mathematics) And Gray has a weird apparatus on his neck. Also Medic's story how he lost his medical license... Also where in Meet the Medic was it said his name is Claude Huggins?

Claude Huggins is a reference to L4D anyway, so it doesn't really mean anything. It's just an easter egg.

There is (or was) an alternate version of this picture in SFM files with a clearly visible Claude Huggins nameplate.
Have you ever met a German guy with the last name 'Huggins'
According to the Medic statue his name is Josef Heilburger, so I wouldn't call the merch info trustworthy :v:
According to the Medic statue his name is Josef Heilburger, so I wouldn't call the merch info trustworthy :v:
The Medic was briefly given the name of Joseph Heilburg by Gaming Heads, a video game merchandiser, when promoting a Medic figurine; it was removed and is regarded as non-canon. This was most likely taken from a fan-made Halloween update, which used the same name. So yeah.

So, if Heavy's name is Misha, then what about the whole Ivan thing? Edit: At least that is what Strong Bad calls him in PNATI
So, if Heavy's name is Misha, then what about the whole Ivan thing?
What Ivan thing?
he must be talking about the achievement "Krazy Ivan" :/
So, if Heavy's name is Misha, then what about the whole Ivan thing? Edit: At least that is what Strong Bad calls him in PNATI
Yeah, but he calls the Heavy Ivan as a generic nickname for a russian guy. It's like calling a Mexican guy "Juan", I guess...
"Are we on the moon right now?" "Yes." Oh my god, Soldier already knew about that update in 2012...
It'd be funny if at some point on the moon, the Spy asks Soldier that same question to test his sanity again, only to have him respond with "no", followed by a string of insults directed at Spy's family.

It would be funny to see the Soldier somehow try to prove they are not on the moon by rocking jumping, then still denying it even though he ends up going much higher than normal.
Is rocket jumping canon?
Even better, the rest of the mercs just watch as Soldier floats away into space never to be seen again.
I thought about that as well. Have him still screaming insults and still saying they're not on the moon while he floats away.
Would be funny if he just disappeared this way and everybody would think he's dead, only for him to randomly reappear later with a crazy unbelievable story how he made it back to Earth. [editline]16th May 2014[/editline] Something along the lines of him punching his way into a soviet spacecraft and hijacking it.
