There should be a chance for the inspect animation to play upon picking up any weapon from the ground.

i hope they fix unusuals not appearing, my disco beat down copper's hard top hasnt had a visual effect for anyone since the update hit
I'm not gonna lie, it's hard to defend snowplow. It felt unfair to me to find some one way around their defenses (placed closer to the train) and cap, leaving them confused or humiliated. The defense areas also just seemed too big, open to lots of threats, and too far away from the train leading many people to build or setup in wrong places.

The whole map feels a bit amateur and rushed. Little alcoves and detours that seem to have no thoughtful purpose to them, and the game mode itself - the train superspeeding from one control point to the next and stopping all suddenly.
For some reason my festive Scattergun isn't working anymore. It's shown on the loadout but not in-game:

Anyone else get a bug on Powerhouse where the clock never goes into overtime if it hits zero, instead staying at zero in some sort of limbo I dubbed Novertime?
I feel like Snowplow would have been better as a Payload map, rather than a CP map.
the train mechanic in snowplow is still stupid, why is it not just a timer that pauses when the point is contested

Seems like they just absolutely fucked several weapons like a few festive ones and the god damn kritz entirely

Weapons keep every single thing about them when dropped. That means that you could get a killstreak with someone else's gun.

Doesn't Dustbowl do that too, forcing you to play all three stages?
Still, I wish that Valve would come up with something better than automatically ending the game when server time runs out in favor for the other team just because they had one more point from last round.
This happens even when the attacking team is capturing the last point.
It seems a fairly heavy-handed way to prevent stalemates. The win doesn't even feel earned if it occurs in the middle of a round. I know a lot of people are surprised when it happens.

I got a shitty pistol and a shittier revolver. Nice!
Hopefully if they add the missing crates they compensate somehow for people who did their challenges for the week.

For def Stranges? Nothing happens, your kills aren't counted on the gun. For Stat-Tracks? Same way CS:GO does it, your kills aren't counted on the gun, and the Counter will go thru saying:
ERROR
UNKNWN USER
and then the amount of kills the real owner got on it, and then a few secs later it will go thru the cycle again.

The Festive Scattergun and Kritzkreig not showing properly might have something to do with the new weapon pick up feature.
The way it works might mean that attachments and v_/w_model don't function properly somehow. They made the Stickybomb Launcher and Minigun into c_models and the attachments Natascha and the ScoRs were given there own proper model instead of reusing the stock ones.
I guess they forgot about giving the Kritzkreig its own proper model as well as some of the early festive weapons which used attachments.
They need to fix the crate not dropping at all.

They made it so when using that ranged teleporter thing it costs 100 metal instead of 130, allowing you effectively to teleport two buildings with full metal.
