An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:
Scorchshot - Added a -35% self damage force penalty (Reduced blast jumping)
Vaccinator - Übercharge penalty no longer applies during setup time
Fixed a case where weapons could still be dropped in Mann vs. Machine
Fixed missing descriptions for the Powerhouse Contract
Fixed self blast jumping for non-Soldier classes. (i.e. Demo, Pyro and any other means of force from self damage. Soldier jumping was fixed in a previous patch)
Fixed weapon pickups resetting the Ullapool Caber
Fixed some weapons not displaying their attachments when dropped (Festives, Kritzkrieg, etc.)
Fixed missing freeze period, not resetting of player scores and not resetting map time when using mp_tournament
Fixed only showing friends' avatars when tf_hud_target_id_show_avatars is set to show everyone
Fixed Shotgun and SMG Killstreak kits not working on Decorated weapons

People hated being locked into a single uber once they popped, so valve buffed the vacc to let you have multiple ubers on the same person. However, this alone would be overpowered, so they slapped on a random debuff and called it a day.
However, the trouble is that the vacc is centered mostly on pocketing. The resistances require a lot of attention in order to properly use, so people stick to one heal target to keep their focus on the resistances. Now, you have to not only pay attention to resistances, but also to the overheal level of basically the entire team, which makes it a lot less fun to use.

After playing it for a while I sort of get used to the very slow speed, and healing injured teammates feels like a nice reward, since it's basically a free uber every two teammates you heal for a decent chunk of health.

I can't wait to FINALLY use the key I bought on a crate that would eventually drop... eventually. And then get a regular weapon.
