Not sure where you're coming from, there are many legitimate reasons to like, play, and appreciate CS:GO
Gun play in that game is pretty neat
Anyone else get a 12.6 MB update?

The intelligence briefings I got on this statement are completely credible.

I'd engage in real conservation with you if you weren't actually a bot, so to you I say:
Two bots are only sometimes better than one, why?

From items_game modifications it just looks like they amended Spy contracts to also count non-stock sappers.
Also a change to the Red-Tape Recorder prefab that makes it "Red-Tape" instead of "Red_Tape" [sp]also a new variable called alive_state[/sp]

Are there any-other weapons that don't count?
My wheatly was starting to become unused

If this is the title, we should do a in-game event to celebrate on PL_Poodoo.
The campaign passes (unactivated passes and activated coins) are nearly at 50,000 units sold.
Stats.tf's estimates are pretty low too so the true number could be rapidly approaching 100,000.
Safe to say people like the new update format?
I bet the actual number sold is much higher, I see a lot of people with the campaign pass.
When you finally do get paid it would be great if you let us know if this did better for you then map stamps. I wouldn't at all be surprised if you make nearly as much, if not more money off this pass then years worth of map stamp sales.
Is anybody else getting an update?
In SpyvEngi they're likely to add something to help spy counter engi like how sniper got the razorback. With all the recent spy vbuffs I hope the update doesn't become The Spy Update (and also I guess engi gets something too)

Spy counters engie with the sapper.
Makes more sense for engi to get it.

The Spy can get all the fancy toys he wants, I'm happy as long as the engineer gets his six shooter. New buildings would just be a bonus.
Every day I think of TF2 and how much I want the competitive mode to come out now. The contracts are great because they added purpose to me playing the game but since they are so sparse we need a more consistent purpose. The competitive mode will do that with the aim of ranking up. It really can't come soon enough. :v:
I almost imagine TF2 becoming a popular (like, comparable to CS:GO and DOTA 2) game again once competitive matchmaking comes out
unfortunately, meta and highly skilled players will make it just as toxic as mvm

*Lenny face intensifies*
Turns out you can't craft the HHHH anymore cause the metal is unusual quality.

even if you untick "Hide special qualities" or whatever?

You're thinking of two-three years ago. The new target is CSGO, I think.

So Fr0Z3n heard back from Valve about Borneo, Snowplow and Suijin being official maps. Basically Valve isn't sure if they are going to remain official after the Gun Mettle Campaign ends and are monitoring the TF2 community for feedback on the maps.
I do believe that if Valve does decide to not make some or all of the maps from the Gun Mettle update official there will be a lot of very unhappy people in the TF2 community.
temporary official maps? weird.
I think it's from all the comments about Snowplow being confusing after all for new players, but that easily could've been amended by having Valve give feedback during the design process like they said they would.
It's more because people are thinking it's going to follow 1:1 with how CSGO does their operations. Namely, the BSPs are removed from everyone's copy of the game as soon as the operation ends.

With CSGO Operations do community servers get a copy of the maps to run during the operation like how community servers can run the 3 community maps from the Gun Mettle campaign? From what I understand the CSGO Operations are just for playing those maps on Valve servers but I could be wrong.
