expiration date showed nothing but the fact she is consistently busy working and scout wanted her attention without knowing she was spending her only day off a year presumably relaxing at home and was upset she got phoned in for a false alarm they haven't developed her character enough to warrant dropping a gaybomb for ANY logical reason other than stirring community drama

I'm not against it, But this is a lame way to add to a character design to someone. Besides, I always thought her more to be asexual. She just doesn't do it. She is all about work and mostly thinks of the job. She doesn't give a shit about love or pleasure, She cares about her duty to the Administrator. It makes a whole lot more sense to everything and continue to be blunt with not wanting anything to do with Scout other then work.

Incorporating progressive ideas into a story can be a good thing when it fits the narrative and comes out from the story organically, but it feels kind of stupid when it's blatantly shoehorned in. You may as well make Saxton Hale a mustache-Kin while you're at it. :v:

In all seriousness though, I can sort of understand why valve would be tired of TF2, it's been in full work mode for more than 15 years straight, i'd get pretty tired of a project if it took up that much of my life too, but the polite and pragmatic thing would be to make a blog post saying "hey look, we've worked on this for longer than some of you have been alive, it's time for new things. we aren't shutting anything down until nobody's playing anymore, but no more updates, sorry people. we'll be fixing as many bugs as we can, and re balancing just as much for the sake of longevity, and maybe if it comes up in conversation, we'll add more workshop stuff now and again, but that's not to be expected. It's been fun and yadda yaddda yadda" so on so forth. But to me it really seems like they're deliberately trying to kill it so they wont be obliged to work on it any more. This came just out of the blue and it feels a little bit forced. How long have people been pairing the Medic with the Heavy? A very long time I'm willing to bet. It can also be a false statement as only Pinkerton has "confirmed" it. You need the entire team backing that up.
