Eh, I dunno, I mean TF2 has a community that often times do their own thing, either community made game modes, or adding more maps to dead game modes (least love community updates awarded to TC). Then again Valve is like any other company "you tend to concentrate more on your newer games than older ones". I mean we gonna hit the point where all Valve does is put out hats, put out some weapons (HA),bug fix and then turn on a switch for holidays.

I feel like it was more a joke on pinkerton's side to explain why theyre stretching out the romance so long, I genuinely doubt they'd make a character gay for the lulz

They could have just said she bi so it wouldn't mess with canon and as a result people wouldn't care as much

I could care less about miss pauling. She has no impact or presence whatsoever in the actual game. She only exists on paper and in the lore. At least the adminstrator has lines and a purpose all around as you play. That's something that has bothered me about expiration date. There's this crazy adventure happening and once you get to play "yourself" in the game, there's absolute fuck-all to be seen anywhere. Random bread models slapped on reskins or teleporters don't really count. It had no impact on us the real, endless clone players. They could have used the map itself (which is a tweaked hydro) and slap doomsday mode on it or something. With a bread monster NPC. nope. nothing

To be fair, she could be gay BECAUSE of Scout. but I must agree, it's kind of a pointless thing to add when it matter's not in the slightest and could even detract from future Scout/Pauling comedic escapades

I don't know about any of you, but I've always considered Expiration Date and Pre-Expiration Date Pauling two different characters. They changed her for Expiration Date and incorporated that new character into the comics.

Nice way to kill a comic subplot in a completely unnecessary way, Valve. I guess having fun wondering if Scout would have ever gotten laid or not is less important than... I'm not even sure what the purpose of this what. Only way to redeem yourself is to make Pauling : Administrator = Smithers : Burns
