This gave me a plan about how to save TF2:
1. Add the fourth, green-colored Mann brother, and give him a fitting name, like Greenwich;
2. Make him a genius (of Gray Mann's level) who is obsessed with planting and greening, and who loves various plants so much that he turns them into sentient humanoid creatures;
3. Give him a plan to conquer the world by creating an unstoppable army of plants based on TF2 characters;
4. Make Greenwich and Gray Mann archenemies;
5. To increase the effect, give Gray factories which pollute the environment so much, even the land becomes dull and gray;
6. Make Greenwich and Gray invite the RED and BLU mercs to fight on the side of one of them;
7. Create a gamemode in which you pick a side and then lead the troops of the said side (be it plants or robots) against the enemy as one of the TF2 characters;
8. Add rewards for completing the new missions. For example, items which turn your class into a humanoid plant or a robot (like the Voodoo-Cursed Souls turn classes into zombies).

Yes, but dota 2 gets constant blog updates. TF2 gets one every 3 months atm
Just by glancing it looks like they get a blog update every 1 - 2 weeks, sometimes multiple posts in a week

Dota 2 only gets that frequent blogposts when the International Compendium for the year is available, or they're posting information live for the International itself in August. Otherwise it's a bit less frequent.
TF2 needs bug fixes, buffs for bad items, nerfs for too powerful items, reworking for annoying items, all while making the weapons interesting enough to cause a playstyle change ( an example for a good goal would be the kritzkrieg ), buffs for heavy, comp support, comics finished well, communication with community, quality standards, and polish.
In addition, I think it would be beneficial for a movie-lengh SFM that retells the comic story with a movie pacing to be theatrically released. (Think wreck it ralph ) Various merc figures/toys/cultural icon things like a sandvich to keep it in the public's conscious, with the goal to provide appeal for TF2 outside the gaming community and expand the player-base by 'abusing' the pixar-like asthetic.
No no no, what TF2 truly needs is [U]more medals[/U].

TF2's capability for public appeal beyond gaming and beyond the traditional gaming demographic is what sets it aside from CS:GO, Dota 2, and other mainstream games.

They have a tool laying around at their disposal- TF2 beta- that they could easily employ for this stuff. It's kind of surprising how they have something like this just waiting to be used and nobody touches it.

I feel the beta has been written off. It's no longer in my Steam library (I did reinstall the OS however) but if it was still meant to be used, it would remain in the library as I have play time on it so it hasn't disappeared because I haven't played it (which some F2P games do).
It's just one of those TF2 ideas the team thinks is great at the beginning and slowly phases it out for some unknown reason, never to use it again.

Shotgun for medic some of the weapons seem really pointless and gimmicky and the emphasis on deathmatch is a turn off for someone who prefers objectives and teamwork. But this is just one guys opinion, I had fun when I played it i just don't feel like I would dedicate myself to it like tf2.

I redid that post because I thought he was talking about tf2 not tf2c. Although to answer your questions. Ever since I learned that reverse falloff existed on the crossbow I knew it made too much sense to put on sniper

The shotgun needs to be redone, it will basically be a Syringe-Shotgun. Or at least that's what I read.

I never understood why people come back here every week to make bets on when the update is rather than just waiting for the update or alternatively discuss statistics which would point to the likelyhood of a release date, which i'm sure the latter has been done multiple times already
