I'd absolutely love love love to hear a legitimate opinion on this from someone on the tf team any rational person on the team would be along the lines of[B] "i hate how little we get done, we fall out of relevancy so easily just by not commiting to things and postponing for weeks at a time. But! We forgot to take into account that each comic takes exponentially more time to come out! So Comic #5 takes 10 months? Comic #6 will take 15 months. Comic #7, if its 2 pages only? 2 months minimum.

tf2's last saving grace was its videos and comics and now even those are pretty much dead in the water, amazing work tf2 team keep up those high quality standards

I forget if it was here or someplace else, but somebody said that Valve in a sense recuperates lost profits through making things like Source Filmmaker/TF2 free by relying on fans to advertise the game for them, through the creation of TF2 media with Source Filmmaker, user created items in game, user created merchandise in real life, etc.

The way I know Valve it's actually going to release in 13 weeks from now. Which would be exactly one year since the last. Alright, now I'm setting my expectation for #6 to "October 2017" and my expectation for #7 to "October 2021"

I think the main reason they haven't included a lot of taunts from the workshop is A LOT OF THEM ARE VERY, *VERY* BAD. Can you imagine if they included that ass-slapping one?

one could probably count all the good taunts on workshop with their fingers sad to see a lack of quality ones, and very few good animators willing to make them :(
