Do they want the Loch to die? It was the one Demo Launcher i loved cause it rewarded carefully aimed shots, and now it's pointless

this update looks beautiful, all those awesome maps and features god
Ok I just saw the post on my Facebook feed and I haven't checked the patch notes or blogpost proper yet but I gotta ask this: Is this the paintable weapons update Valve promised us eons ago when paints first came out?
Do they want the Loch to die? It was the one Demo Launcher i loved cause it rewarded carefully aimed shots, and now it's pointless
What are you talking about? Loch is easy to hit with
No new weapons is kinda disappointing, but my GOD THOSE WEAPON CHANGERS ARE BEAUTIFUL.
In all honesty the new skins look terrible. It worked in CSGO without looking that ugly, but not here. It's a joke right?
Do they want the Loch to die? It's a crutch with a proper downside to force an upgrade to stock once you get confident. From the stats it seems perfect now.
the balance changes are sweet and the big as hell meta-changing thing of picking up dead player's weapons is insane but those children's birthday present wrapping weapons skins are downright insulting like, guys. gold weapons are in the game. you can make your gun gold. i don't think any of the uber leet players that love dropping ten grand on tf2 items are gonna want to trade their gold rocket launcher for one that looks like tacky wallpaper
ehh the balance changes are so messy All the spy stuff jesus christ what is going on. You expect people to remember about this stuff? I didn't even know sentries had minigun resis. now everything has a "passive" attribute lol
to be honest, i'm a bit overhyped about the new update. most likely because no update in 6 months.
Mini Sentries can now be repaired
Jesus.
That buff to the Detonators jump height is getting me hot and bothered, in any sense you want to interpret that.

When I first saw the page I was thinking this would be a campaign mode where you play as Mrs. Pauling or something. But its contracts instead for killing a certain class etc. Which is a shame, would have loved to seen missions like the ones in csgo, its not a bad thing at all though sounds awesome. They finally added snowplow officially!
I thought I wanted to play TF2, not CSGO all the time...
In all honesty the new skins look terrible. It worked in CSGO without looking that ugly, but not here. It's a joke right?
Teufort skin series looks OK at least, but some of the other skin collections are totally garish though I'd agree.
Hey guys let's not get too optimistic. They changed so much, there's bound to be bugs, right? Maybe if we're lucky, the game will crash on startup for 80% of players and we'll get to stay super salty!
honestly considering valve's past treatment of the heavy it's not surprising at all that sentries had a hidden minigun resistance
yet they still don't understand last summer's nerf is still the main problem and now they just power-creeped the living crap out of it all. it is glorious
Maybe if they can surprise us with this kind of new stuff, they will be able to surprise us with Source 2?
Good update. Needs more but this will help TF2's dying economy, which will hopefully get TF2 up there with CS:GO in current players.
Aw snap they're adding Snowplow and Suijun. That's awesome.
I'm so happy they are actually adding community maps again. I haven't had a chance to play Suijun but I do like Snowplow and Borneo. Looking forward to trying the new Valve map as well. Great to see they are supporting community map makers with the campaign pass as well. I'm looking over the weapon changes now but it seems like they've made a lot of changes. It will be interesting to see how things shake out.
I hope the inspect weapon animation works on all weapons and not just case-specific
I hope the inspect weapon animation works on all weapons and not just case-specific
They way CS:GO handles it I assume it would. It's also a nice excuse to get a better look at some of the older, tacky weapons as opposed to the new tacky weapons.
At first I was happy... Then i just cried... [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/uevcPjg.png[/thumb] Edit: It's nice to see an update, Don't get me wrong... but the more I read the more they've turned this to CSGO.
Although I really like the new buffs/nerfs/features etc, I really think they should continue this for more than just three months. I don't have much money to spend at the moment, and I'd really like to get into this, but I just can't at the moment and I don't think I'll be able to in the 3 months that the event is active.
Dalokoh's Bar -Now has 10 second cool down on use -Can now overheal up to 400hp -Can be thrown (alt-fire) as a small medkit for other players to use
it's not useless anymore!
the skins look a lot better battle-scarred
So...TF2 is now CSGO?
I, for one, am angry about how they changed the ammo drops. This isn't medievil mode, people! You cant just drop a small pill bottle from your corpse.
