I really like this picture, it's cute.

How does Heavy have an exact picture of Scout doing that pose beforehand?

The contracts are arranged by the Administrator and Ms. Pauling. It's make sense for one of them to get a picture of who needs to be killed.
I can just imagine Ms. Pauling perched on a balcony or hiding in a tree then Scout notices her and starts waving.
Is the timer still displayed in the same way, showing time until next train damage, or is it a normal timer, showing time until the game is over?
It is as it was when we launched. I didn't change any of that, the mechanic is the same. Any changes to that, Valve made.
you know the only 2 things I'm happy about...
The fact I can still shove a mini sentry in deep dark places and my Jag is much more powerful now
It seems a lot of passive bonuses/penalties were removed from weapons that weren't always active.
Definitely a lot better for knowing how much damage you need to do to an enemy to kill them.
Balancing render, it looks like the Afterburners bottom part is sticking out. I guess we'll see tomorrow.
I LOVE these balance changes but some new guns would be nice, too. Especially if they change the fundamentals of the game like the parachute.
It's not just the bottom part, the whole weapon is clearly there, it is the exact same nozzle as well. It would truly be bizarre if it wasn't involved with the update
I'm liking where they changed high fire vulnerability to a lower all-damage vulnerability. It means that you get a general debuff that you're constantly reminded of, rather than a situational vulnerability that means you're up shit creek if, by random chance, a pyro happens to walk around the corner.

Im trying to think; has there ever been a time valve teased new weapons that where not included in the next update?

The garden weapons in the Uber Update video.
Is there A release date for this? I can't see one.
Annoyed at the $6 dollar fee for the campaign, but i'm getting my paycheck tomorrow so why not

because gross skins?
because gross skins?
Because I like the idea of having objectives because it's satisfying to work towards a goal.
The garden weapons in the Uber Update video.
Well we got them in the Uber Update so that actually gives me hope.

Achievements?
Horrible update.
I play TF2 to play TF2, not to play CS:GO.

You're still playing TF2 though. Everything that matters in terms of gameplay is still TF2. The CS:GO stuff is 100% cosmetic. As far as the game part of the game goes, this update is only improving things.
New feature: Weapon exchange and pick up. Weapons dropped by killed players can no longer be picked up for ammo. Killed players will now also drop a medium ammo box. Players that can normally equip the dropped weapon (proper class) can look at the weapon and press the 'action key' to exchange it with what they have equipped. The player's equipped weapon will be dropped on the exchange.
"100% cosmetic"

Think of it this way: you might get lucky and score an item that you can sell for at least some of that $6 back. (heck you might get super lucky and make it back several times over, but the market value of these weapons is yet to be seen)
"100% cosmetic"
Dont knock it til you try it.
Why didn't valve also set hud_fastswitch 1 by default or con_enable 1 by default? Pretty much anyone experienced in this game has at least one (usually both) of those enabled 24/7
Dont knock it til you try it.
I'm not saying it's bad - it may be a really cool feature once it comes out - but it's not TF2.

it is now
I was actually thinking about the loadout switching, because I had my concerns after reading it, and I came to the conclusion that people really aren't gonna abuse this as much as you think they would, due to the fact that people run their loadouts because they find them best suited to their needs.
For example, I run stock Rocket Launcher, and as such, I really wouldn't switch to a Black Box mid-battle, because I feel that that losing a rocket isn't really worth the extra health on hit. You can apply that to any person, to any weapon, or any loadout.
This on-the-fly loadout changing is really only for people who find incedibly niche needs for certain weapons (direct hit vs stock RL, loch vs stock GL, etc.), or for F2Ps who want/need to use other weapons from the item drop system. Potential abuse to be curbed even further if, on pickup, the weapon has an empty clip, needing to be reloaded before combat.
