Get ready, everyone. Tf2 hub and friend activity page getting filled with asshats showing off their half-assed skins incoming.

So, some things to speculate on; The picture of a comic Jay Pinkerton teased when he was talking about the differences of Photoshop/Illustrator turned out to be the comic for this update. Conveniently, the stat-kill-tracker-thing on the Gun Mettle page shows itself as "499", which is coincidentally what tomorrow's update will be. The 499th update. This first campaign will last for three months, conveniently ending just in time for October. Previous CSGO operations have had as much as a two-month gap(or usually just one) between them, so we can possibly expect another campaign by the end of October or in November. Or they might just save it for the December update. The top left most monitor on the update page features a bunch of silhouettes - possibly of the cut-out target boards that have the shape of the classes. The Boxtrot box and spy can be found over seven times on the update pages.
this would be nicer if the skins were just paint can style items that can be applied to any fitting weapon. the fact that i cant put even one skin that might look good on my Spec KS strange minigun (name-tagged) bothers me I wont lie, I like this one [IMG]http://puu.sh/iKqQq/e17fed1fe3.jpg[/IMG] but fuck if I'm gonna get rid of my sick mini just to look a little nicer

The Classic needed a buff & Iron Bomber a whole new rework. We can't get everything thought.

As for the Classic- I honestly don't expect that they're done with attempting to rebalance weapons just yet (or at least I'd hope not).

Honestly if they handled skins better and made them more unique to TF2 it would be acceptable, but straight tacking on a CS:GO thing to TF2 was a really poor way to go about this

I'm pretty happy with my strange rocket launcher as it is bit who knows, maybe I'll get one with a skin I like enough to justify sidelining it.

i hope valve eventually adds a weapon combiner so we can have skins and keep our signed/unusual/farty weapons also they should really limit weapon prefixes to like a single thing, just pick the highest value one as the dominant and have the others noted in the weapon description or something cause weapon titles are gettin unwieldy also i hope there's an achievement for killing someone with their own gun

So, back to speculation: What time will they let us play with these new toys that we all hate?

So its like a scout using a FaN who kill a Soda Popper scout can pick up that scout's soda popper and use that as their weapon instead. though i'm sure its only works class to class so a sniper cant pick up a demo's weapon (though I'm sure Valve being Valve will have a glitch where folks will end up picking up ANY weapon) It could also be base on what weapon they had out when they die also, so a secondary weapon will only replace YOUR secondary if you two are the same class
