The headcanon names I've had for awhile now are Danny for Scout, Heinz for Medic, Richard for Sniper, and Lucien for Spy. Still haven't decided on one for Pyro, though.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread here that it could be short for either patrick or patricia.

Personally I think the name's clever and believable enough that it's his/her name in my book.

on the topic of names, the gaming heads statues had Josef Heilburger for medic and Mick Mundy for sniper, both of which feels bang on for me. Kinda feels like it was some quiet official but never released info that valve came up with back in the day
