I guess the After Burner is the new red herring.
So it seems competitive mode will be a buy in pass similar to the gun mettle operation. Strings for menu buttons, queues and party chats were added. Judging by the strings, however, the queues seem like a mvm giant dump queue which is not what is preferred. Pauling seems to have voice overs related to the operation, including for each class, and for failing, suceeding, and taking the mission.
I got one kill (not an assist, a verified kill on the kill feed and all) with Air Strike and I didn't get an upgraded clip. I think it might be a glitch where it still acts like the fourth rocket counts as the upgrade from one kill. EDIT: I got two kills and got a fifth rocket, so my hunch was right. GG Valve. :v:

IDK if this was always there, but Australium weapons now have a gold glow on the kill feed, like how a critical kill has a red glow. EDIT: Forgot to mention it was on the kill feed
