About 11 hours a week count towards about 5-15 weapon drops. Crates can be traded about 2 to 1 for weapons, and about 3-5 drop during those 11 hours in addition to weapons. Hats drop fairly rarely, and can be traded for about 2 refined each, depending on what they are, which can then be traded to about 9 weapons per refined without significant issue. Tools drop rarely; something like once a month, and can be traded for anything between 1-9 weapons without issue. If you find nice people though, you can get up to two weapons per scrap metal.
You could probably trade both your Ellis Cap and your Frying Pan for a reclaimed each, your Alien Swarm for a weapon or two and your Killing Floor items for Refined or more if you prioritise weapons over cosmetics.

You get like ~8 items a week, not including crates. Crates are useless, delete them or give them away.
