Easy.

For reference, it took me forever to trade for a vintage tricorne for 4 refined. If you think that 14 refined would get you ~3 vintage hats from the last community hat update (hats like the Bucket, Beret, Drill etc.), you'd be trying to buy an unusual for three, maybe four vintages.

Considering the fact that vintage hats are only going to get rarer and unusuals will eventually become as common as muck, that'd be a pretty decent deal for an unusual owner. Pity no-one thinks that way.
