From a guy who's opened over 30 crates in the past few weeks, it's not worth it D:
I could've had at least another set of buds with all those keys I traded for. Instead? Shitloads of giftwrap, weapons and paint.

I need some giftwrap, so it all worked out in the end. And to get good shit from crates, you got to have finesse in how you pick your next crate. For example, when I opened a series 1 and got a Bonk, then got another, I realized that I had to switch things up. So I saw the Series 9, which had mostly paint. But. I hoped for the soft cap and knew I was going to get a shitty paint. But then BAM! An Unusual Glengarry Bonnet with Purple Energy. It takes luck and variation to get good shit from crates.

I can't get giftwrap. I have no money, I don't wanna trade hats, and all my bits of metal somehow ended up with achievement items crafted into them. And I don't have paint or anything.

No, just kidding that's not a scam.. it's just me transferring items between my secondary idle accounts and primary account..

I'm getting freakin' hat drops every week for at least 6 weeks now.. I think they really raised the hat drop rate.. although it might be because I have 3 idling accounts and a primary I play on.. but still I've never had a huge streak like this before.

And this week I got 2 hat drops. Hopefully this doesn't jinx me. *knock on wood*
