Well if you mod the wiki then would you kindly tell me why the BLU Spy on the front page got removed.
I did that. I was making them larger and the blue spy was only at 120px. Want me to replace it?
It was silly, but I just wanted to know. Didn't notice they were larger. [editline]06:20PM[/editline] Oh hey it's already back.
Something about cameras when he kills you and you get the kill cam as well
And one line of his has the word "owned", which is predominantly a gaming term.
Keeping the visual style consistent is important, in that we don't want anything out of theme or out of date. TF is a stylized world set some time in the 50's. Nothing modern, visually hyper-realistic, or overly "cartoony."
From the TF2 contribute page. http://www.teamfortress.com/contribute/tips.php
Its just the art style that is set in the 50s-60s. It really does set a mood for the game and I enjoy it every single time I play. Who cares these sort of things make me think about the game to much and ruin the fun.
Remember how Fallout 3's architecture is in 1950s style, although it's supposed to be architecture from 2077? Same thing.
Remember how Fallout 3's architecture is in 1950s style, although it's supposed to be architecture from 2077? Same thing.
The difference is that TF2 did not have a nuclear war in 1968 and the classes didn't had to live with their old stuff in a futuristic world.
No, that's a fanmade company. The spytech supplying companies are either TF industries, or Mann Co.
Spytech Industries is a subsidiary of TF Industries
Spytech Industries, LLC. is a subsidiary of TF Industries which claims to be "The Industry Leader In Professional Espionage Since 1968!". They possess stock quotes from 'REDD', 'BLUU', 'BMESA' and 'APSCI'. According to a flyer that was posted on the 'Reliable Excavation Demolition' web site, Spytech are also sponsors of 'The 40th Annual Technology Summit' where advances in teleportation technology are apparently being demonstrated. Their website is restricted to those without corporate wholesale accounts, however a link to their support page can be found through the 404 page of BLU's vandalized website. The support page claims their current clients include RED and BLU. The Sawmill in the eponymous map is built on top of an abandoned Spytech base.

The calender I saw in 2fort said "1968"
It could be a novelty "futuristic" calender; 1950s Era American culture fucking loved the future. They dreamed of a future where scantily-clad women everywhere would be free to pose for atomic holo-calenders!... even Asians! [see: RED calender] Unfortunately, given that the technology required to produce atomic holo-calenders simply did not exist at the time, future-loving calender-production tycoons opted to use paper. Though, tragically, their dream of an atomic holo-calender was not fully realized, the calenders proved successful enough to close all Japanese internment camps and effectively end World War III. The test monkeys who died during the testing of these calenders will forever live on in our memories. No, not as flea-ridden simian corpses, but as heroes.
The teleporter comes from the year 2058.
But most off them talk like a todays person (do you think that scout would talk like he does in the 50-60's?)
Indubitably, old chum.
Really? How? :byodood:
He says "No other class gonna do that." And "Go ahead, ragequit, make us both happy.
