Viaduct is awesome with the bots, but sometimes the bots are retarded and all go Sniper, making it impossible to cap the point.
Or they all go Medic and Engie.
The bot pyros are better than a lot of human pyros I've seen :golfclap:

So, I'm looking to replace my old RCBot-fighting background with the official bots. How do I spawn bots of a specific class? Also, what classes work? I know the Spy and Scout don't (bit of a shame since they're my favorite classes), so is every other class usable?

To be honest, a bot should be able to airblast much better than any human.
Even if they make the bot purposefully fail airblast regularly, they'll still pull it off perfectly when they actually do.

I would like to know this as well, viaduct would be a great map for this.
The bots are fantastic. Been playing around with them all day.
Although, the snipers can be a bit too deadly, I threw together a quick video, showing how deadly they actually are. These happened all in the course of 3 minutes or so.

Force the bots to be engineer, and have 16 on each team.

you could set class limits
i had to do that after i had pikablu the soldier with his arena team of seven engineers
and the other team was made up of heavies
It appears to be a good cure if you share a router with someone who keeps torrenting something.
Shit, nav_generate_incremental takes far longer than vanilla nav_generate.

Aw, I'm gonna miss the days of spastic jumping to get round objects, and entire teams of demomen and soldiers obliterating themselves because they can see enemies behind the setup gates. Which they cannot shoot through. With friendly fire on.

They probably started work on them when we saw the "Ro-Bot" page, not 2 years ago...
Now all we need is bots using the upgrade weapons.
The bots shouldn't be counted as part of the player count.
This is going to be kick ass.
