I was watching a stream and noticed that no two skins are the same. They're slightly different.

I remember looking into it when I was considering contributing to their workshop and you had to basically juggle between different textures and their own alpha channels.
Played a couple of quick matches and I think all these look kind of like rocket jumpers, a bit confusing from a distance, at least when I first saw it. Anyone else feel this way? The issue is that, during a fight, I'm running low on ammo and I see red rocket launcher from a distance. I go for pickup, and I'm not 100% sure if I'm getting a rocket jumper or a rocket launcher. Maybe it's just early game, but it's confusing me for a few seconds. Also might want to edit that quote, wall of images a second time.

I saw a Soldier walking away from me and I thought he had a rocket jumper, so instead of baiting him with my shotgun and then airblast his rockets, I thought I'd just shotgun him, get closer and finish him off with my Powerjack. Nope, he turned around and crit rocketted me. I would've kept my distance if I had known it was a rocket launcher. I think I'll mod the rocket jumper model so that I can tell the difference easily.
So uh.... Does anybody else know what the "action key" actually is? For me, my "contextual action/taunt" is the only thing I can find with the word "action" in it in my Keybinds, but if I try to pick up a fallen weapon, all it does is bring up my taunt menu.
I've never got confused by it, I guess I just have good eyes or something. It's kinda easy to tell between the different shades of orange and the tip of the launcher being white.

So, some interesting things are happening in the crafting system right now, and by interesting I mean "valve what the fuck did you do" -A few stock weapons are craftable (presumably they screwed this up implementing weapon skins) -[B]A few achievement promos are craftable[/B] (Black Rose, Iron Curtain, Enthusiast's Timepiece to name a few) -All hats with random levels that are crafted are level 1 So grab your tokens and start crafting, because this'll probably be fixed by tomorrow
So, apparently [B]dropped Mediguns retain their charge in pub mode only and not in competitive mode (timers and such). [/B]

Found an exploit, if you could call it that. If you equip knife and then pick up a YER, you can change disguise at will with it equipped. Of course you lose it when you die, but if you are a good Spy, could be gamebreaking.

I now have 2 iron curtains crafted by me, and a shotgun crafted by me. The iron curtains are untradeable though, so I assume this applies to other promos

Is there a way to get what you want specifically when crafting or is it completely random if you get one of those promo items? I'm trying it with slot tokens but I haven't crafted anything unusual yet. I'm starting to run out of items to make the tokens with.

The Medic's primary slot has the fewest amount of options available (four), next closest is Pyro's primary slot and Engineer's primary slot. However, I'd hazard that there runs a chance of nabbing a botkiller or even a festive in the process, as there seems to be no restriction on what can be crafted. However, they could also try to just craft madly if they don't want an australium specifically, in which case attempting to craft Flamethrowers or Mediguns would yield the highest chance of [i]any[/i] successes (but most likely Botkillers if that's indeed the case).
