Yes you can also do that.
In general: Screen tearing will not appear if your game runs at a constant fps value which is dividable by you monitor Hertz value. What vsync does is, it reads your Monitor Hz and locks the fps to that value.
Screen Tearing will still appear with activated vsync in case your fps keep dropping to values under 60.
(You could also lock your game to 30 fps and screen tearing shouldn't appear)

Well to be honest it was something I did years before I got my 980 (which was just last month) and never really turned it off since. I guess I probably could play without it now, but just never really tried. I was running an old 460 before and my fps was all over the place unless I turned vsync on. The only reason I even upgraded at all to a 980 was because the 460 crapped out and died after like 5 years.

All I've managed to craft so far is a Stock Knife and 2 Hidden Blades (one right after the other).
The new arena_suijin_rc2 map just completely broke for me, certain textures glitched and failed to load or something and I ended up being able to see through various points of the map. The big bridge was completely invisible.

I'm getting a "no matching blueprint" error upon trying to craft a spy knife, other crafting is working though. Anyone else having this problem?
EDIT: Restarted TF2, crafted black rose on the second try. Woo.
i crafted about 4 refs worth of weapons and not a single stock weapon :suicide:

I really want to know how Valve adds maps now, what do they tamper with when they place the map in-game?
Also couldn't you get a stock weapon by just renaming one and then removing the tag?
I just remembered to craft an Iron Curtain, I used tradable metal and everything and it shows up not tradable.
I tried using external programs, but they can't seem to craft using tokens.

If I remember correctly, when it was first put in the game it was accidentally available for crafting. Before they fixed it back then, they made all of them untradable. Seems it's still the case now

I assume all this nonsense happening with broken crafting also means that you got a panic attack because it's considered a primary weapon for the engineer that is also shared with heavy
Welp, tried to get that black rose, crafted nearly every spy knife including the stock one without any luck, and that was 3 pages of dupes
The funny thing is that I still have refined in my backpack just looking at me like "what now sucker, you already crafted us" :v:
I crafted 8 spy tokens and didn't get a single black rose.

You'd be surprised, primary pyro and primary soldier. I'm thinking that australium weapons get autoreplaced with a stock shotgun.

...Odd, even if I disable vsync and set fps_max to 120 the framerate still caps itself at 60. And yes, I changed the command outside of a server.

derp, turns out it was EVGA Precision that was limiting it. :v: Nevertheless, I still get bad screen tearing, even when capping it at 120fps. Oh well, so much for that.
So, wait, all weapons are craftable now?
