I thought in this terrible update they could at least add the Painterly Filter
Same here
You know waiting a week to get the items normally really isn't that big of an issue. You can also always just trade for the weapons.
Can someone make me a Magicka-related objector decal to do with using a lightning strike on a teammate?
Ugh, I just got this:

in the mail and now I want to make a decal out of it, but that coldplay one is too good. eh, I'll just make a new one with two new things I like just as much. And thanks again for that template nassim0.

It's a limited edition Super Mario retro pin set, 25 lapel pins of classic mario sprites, only available through a 2011 club nintendo platinum member reward, still in the wrapping. I love it.
There you go.

After about 2 hours of trying to decide what to put on my sign, I decided I'll go nostalgia people.
This was the picture I used, though the filter kinda borked it :v Hoping that painterly comes back soon.

Now go out and slay some Balverines.
*To be used with the Colour-Pallet work-around.

Anyone know what this work-around is?
Does the script to have a full colored decal still works?
YES THEY DO.
If you're gonna get slapped by a sign, make it memorable.... GOATSE! lol

How ?

Meh, depends on the server. Some let that sort of thing happen while others don't.

You incur the wrath of Valve for shit like that, not a server owner per-say.
It would be nice if there was a script for the Clan Pride to be fully colored, I really want to put the Franklin Badge on my Clan Pride.
How ?

Meh no one gave me the villain vile so I'm posting the method anyway.
Here's what you do, put this in your tf folder:
http://www.mediafire.com/?fa2pyo7jp6dycji
paper_overlay is for the objector
I'm not sure how the flair one works since i don't have a flair myself.
I have no idea why this didn't receive more praise than it did. Here's a more detailed explanation for how it works:
As I understand it, all this does is take the blank textures certain decalable items have (<-- dis shit) and replaces them with your image.
What you do is take the second 'scripts' folder (after you initially unzip it), and slap that shizz into your tf folder.
Edit the .pngs for either the flair or objector so your image shows. There aren't blank files for either the clan pride or photo badge in that folder (I checked the gcf), so it may not be possible to bypass the filter for those.
When you use the decal tool it should show a trippy-ass mash-up between your steam icon and your decal, but this is fixed when you mess with the filter in the next step, so nothing shows save for your glorious full-color decal.

Does that mean that other people could see it correctly as well, or just you?
Does that mean that other people could see it correctly as well, or just you?
Everyone can see it correctly, you're just messing with the image your client's going to send to Steam. Feel free to remove the script when you're done, your picture will be there and it won't have the filter.
So, if part of your decal is transparent, does that show up as black on the items or is it actually see-through?

I don't think it's gonna be a see-through :V
can this work for photobadge as well?
only tired it for flair and picket sign.

I do believe it should be possible with some toying with the files, haven't tried it though.
