Hey, I actually joined the forums to ask if the painterly workaround script here still works. I've been trying to use it, but only one of the buttons on my flair are actually in color. The rest are overlaid.

Are your images the right size? If only one of them is in colour, I'd guess that you might be using a smaller/larger image than the actual template.
I used it around a week ago on my flair and it worked for me.

Nope, I didn't change the template's size a bit. Yet the preview's color is still off and funky. I've been playing around with it and the script just doesn't seem to like dark colors. Light pinks, oranges, and blues show up fine on the preview but anything else gets darkened by the gradient.

Can you show us the image? I might be able to fix it for you.
E: Actually, what you said is true. Some colors do get darkened, and it is unavoidable I'm afraid.

IIRC some colours look odd in that preview, but they become alright when its actually applied.
