So, dumb question of the day. A while back, someone made a Helmet of Victory model that basically replaced either Bill's Hat or the Gibus with the Soldier helmet. What I'm wondering is, what are the chances that someone will modify that model to replace... say... the Parasite hat?

Hello, this is my first submission, and second model. There are two things I promised the community I am registered with and got feedback from (Facepunch). First thing was that I ask you to please not use a bleed effect on this weapon if you decide to accept it. Second thing is that, if you do accept it, I do not know exactly how the reward system for getting accepted works, but I believe a self-made item is standard, no? If this were to get accepted I would greatly appreciate it if you could give the weapons to the two people who helped me extremely with this mod, one being the texturer, the other being a overall helper, that may be understating it though. Either way, a self-made item for me would go wasted as I cannot play TF2 due to my bad PC, but I still love TF2 nonetheless. Basically, what I am trying to say is to give the self-made weapons (If it gets accepted of course) to Communist Cake (Steam: ----------) and Mr.Scrake (Steam: -------). Only thing keeping us from sumbitting is Commie Cake with the source files. (He is away)

I havn't used Facepunch in a while, mostly because I see it as a banhappy community. I'm thinking of getting into modelling, since maps are hella hard to make and skins are less used than a fully modelled creation. Anyway, which SDKs should I download? And can someone point me towards a guide? Thinking of doing a Duke launcher. [IMG]http://imgur.com/j0dim.jpg[/IMG] thoughts?

I'm sorry, but I think you need to either take a break from the internet or get some common sense. I mean, have you once seen a successful reskin in the emporium that wasn't an OCD fix?
Uber, might I suggest modelling a completely new hat? Look through historical crap on wikipedia and you could easily find something. A quick search found this: [IMG]http://imgur.com/OXX4L.jpg[/IMG] Which could be used for several classes, I'm thinking either the scout or the pyro as it kind of looks like a racing helmet but it's also a fire helmet.

Guys, i need some help here. How to make model smoothy and clean in 3ds max? When I use modifiers, its really not smooth in some places.
