Anyone know a way to better simulate tf2 lighting in 3dsmax for renders?
Even I can see these renders aren't doing any justice.

I dunno what's going on here but for some reason custom crosshairs I made flicker randomly, they aren't a solid color but they just flicker between black and white.
Why would Soldier wear a French helmet? He thinks French people are cowards, hence the Spy domination lines. :colbert:
Even the British one would be much better..
Soldier's just the type of guy I'd expect to have helmets of warriors from every generation stored up (Tyrants Helm, Killer's Kabuto, etc).
difference with them 2 helms are they are from the past of famous warriors Samurai and vikings and lets face it the french regarding the likes of napoleon and that whole generation aren't known for there fighting skills, most of the time when it comes to wars there the butt of all jokes know as cowards.
I think all of the hats apart from the Tyrant's Helm fit his personality or bio:
Stash - Improvement of regular helmet
Drill hat - MAGGOTS
Pot - Improvised armor
Kabuto - Sun Tzu
Tyrant's helm doesn't fit in, apart from being a helmet. Now I'm not sure if British helmet would fit either..
Kabuto really fits in BECAUSE of the tyrant's helm. Sun Tzu was Chinese. And now you're going to say blah blah soldier thought he was Japanese. Hell, who's to say soldier doesn't think he was a viking?

It's not meant to be 100% accurate to the 1911 design. Also, the slide length is modeled after a commander sized 1911.
So i took up compiling norron's polypack items for him and i started on the balaclava and i cant get the textures to work i always have trouble with them when it comes to compiling items also who do you compile weapons is it the same deal as hats and such?
