I just went by the concept that Pie_Tony drew.
The scope is supposed to look like there was an explosion in it, also, I don't see how the stock misshapen, it looks perfectly fine in my opinion. The main body of the gun do look plain, but it was like that in the concept.

It's called a concept. And if you ask me, it looks perfectly fine. The trigger guard does look a little thick, but that's my only gripe. This is TF2, not MW2 or some shit, and it fits the game perfectly.

I have to agree with Josh here, the stock looks weird and the trigger group is too fat. The foregrip could use some small screws in it and the scope mount with holes doesn't fit with the rest of the gun. Also, I think the muzzle would look better if it were just straight.

Uuugh I hate decompiling tf2 models. When I open the MDL file of a hat in Notepad++ I just get a fuckload of black boxes. Any advice?
Don't worry about the boxes. Just change IDST0 to IDST, (use the comma).
Here's this frontier justice FaN thingy, it's using about three different textures because I'm lazy and ineffectual, but when I'll fix that and add the FJ tech stuff on an alternative version, it's ready to go.

Moving on to hats, is it possible to control if a hat stays on a ragdoll or falls off during death? Some fall off and some stay on, and I'd like to make a few that stay.

I agree, it looks better with the scope. Maybe try putting the scope back, but have it not damaged? I like the stock now though.
