I'm wondering how this will work with the teams. If you can get it to work well enough that they are clearly noticeable then I say go for it. The idea of using multiple chapters for each class is awesome (and nice job, Soldier is my favorite class and the Imperial Fists are my favorite chapter). However, if you stick with the chapters I recommend doing some research on each chapter to see which fits the best with each character. The Imperial fists were the best when it came to Defense so I recommend skinning one of the defensive classes as an Imperial Fist.
Edit: Or you can go and just make the Soldier an Angry Marine. They use the same color scheme as the Imperial Fists, and it fits perfectly with the soldier being batshit insane.

I think it would be simpler than most character models. He has almost the same silhouette as the Spy, due in large part to his suit. I think you could just keep the normal eyes. Facial animations could be ignored altogether, unless you want to preserve his frontal lobes acting as eyebrows like in his game.

2. Make the graffiti text thicker, but more worn to match.
