Well from what I can tell, it needs new animations. The bone positions for the regular grenade launcher and the Cycloptic bomber are too different. I haven't compiled a first person model yet, but I assume it'll have the same problem. There's also a bone rotation problem, but that's easily fixable, I think.

The only reason why the w_model works for all classes cause Valve was lazy and decided to still use the w_model for the engie's shotgun rather than the c_model.
This was supposed to be just an engie weapon at first.

So I was trying to get the frontier justice model replaced with the TF2 Oldschool skin pack shotgun model. I tried it with the c_shotgun model which worked perfectly. I then tried doing it for the oldschool model. it works 'okay' in firstperson, but in thirdperson..

I'd still love to see those animated robot arms as something that appears on a (regular, non-Marine) Engineer's back when he's using the Gunslinger, though, if it's possible. I think it'd look awesome.
