Don't just fuck around and do nothing as you wait for somebody to type. Analyze the rest of the server as well. Or, if you play and scam at the same time, continue playing after pressing escape.

Well, value is as subjective as beauty. The value is in the eye of the beholder. Looking at items, or entities, what have you, you can't always look at the physical, material aspect of it. Sure, he just paid some money for some pixels on his screen, but what is the text in front of your eyes right now? One can argue that obviously, words and letters have uses. However, an item in a game can have a use to whoever owns it, no matter what it is. When you look at it physically, he exchanged currency, an item in "holdable" status is composed of linen, cotton, and silk, with another person over the internet, receiving an array of pixels. Afterward, he would navigate his way into the game, moving a peripheral and pushing down his left forefinger, eventually getting to the point where he has light arranged on a monitor in a certain fashion, being delievered to his eyes and triggering a response in his brain. When you ask the question "Why?", you must observe the situation from the receiver's mentality. The receiver bought the item because he would be content with it. He may not be able to feel it, but sight is just as much of a sense. Both people in the exchange received something they wanted.

I suppose this is true. Its just I feel like there is a better way of going about getting earbuds than real money. If he enjoys the earbuds then I cant argue with that.
