Just traded an Attendant for a Bill's Hat. The attendant really isn't all that great. Feels like you're force to use the Degreaser and Powerjack which don't complement each other as well as the Axtinguisher and Degreaser do. I'm keeping this one. I had some green paint saved for it. No image because I have to do some research. I taught my brother how to scam, hopefully he'll turn up with something after I'm done.

The base of scamming is knowing what is in someone's inventory. I think almost everyone here knows how to scan backpacks. It's also nice to find out their playtime stats. If a player has a hat for a class he doesn't play often, he will probably get rid of it if you offer something he likes. A lot of people's unawareness comes from less exposure. If they equip rare, non-subtle items, they will often get praised for what they have, and may even be told the value. Always send two to three requests. Don't be afraid to sweet talk them if you see them typing. Otherwise, some people pay no attention to the chat box. After you have learned the basics of everything, get lucky, get big.
