Never be afraid to go for more.
That was uncalled for. Why is it a "taste of my own medicine"? I didn't do anything fucking wrong. I come into this thread and see Lemonator pull in like 5 a day, why is it unreasonable to think I could do the same?
Well, scamming is sort of wrong.
God dammit I need to read the thread.
I don't feel like saying the amount. It's not like homo butt million dollar amount. But how'd you lose them?
Last year, sometime between 6th and 7th period someone, somehow opened my locker and took my TI-n-spire. I think it just wasn't closed right. I couldn't sleep well for 3 days, constantly wondering where it is.
A few months later I bought a TI-89 for use on a test that would be much easier with a Ti-89. I hardly remember what happened to this one and I don't think I ever knew where or when it got stolen or lost. It just disappeared into thin air.
The next week I got another 89. The Friday after winter break it wasn't in my backpack. I talked to the principal and all and got a lecture.
Two days later I bought the 89 I have now and I don't want to fucking lose it and I fucking won't because I'm fucking extremely fucking careful now, more fucking than a porn star in the Playboy mansion's whore house section.
Mien mother just said "Think of it like this, you donated those calculators to strangers. Hopefully they'll find more use of it than you."
One of my friends also comforted me and said "You just gotta let go." and told me how he had to when his cat ran away and never returned. I can't even comprehend the longing for the missing object in that scenario.
Eh, someday I'll look back and laugh at this. Sometimes my friend's ask me where's my calculator just to get a kick. They also refer to my 89 as "the $500 calculator".
Suprisingly there's also a business in selling stolen calculators in a lot of schools. Especially across schools. Ex. A high school student will jack a calculator and sell it to a college student for half the price.
Also, CommanderMayhem I'm saying "taste of your own medicine" lightly. I'm not very serious. But my third lost calculator made me want to stop scamming. I'm one of those people who believe about karma. Although loosely, it didn't seem like coincedence that I lost my 3rd 89 after I started scamming for a week. That's why I stopped. I was refering to myself, not saying "haha".
Now I'm trying to be a better person, first off: no more hat hunting. Honestly, it's a huge waste of time unless you sell the items for lots of money and even then it's still a bad thing to me since I don't need more money right now. Yeah, not scamming for virtual hats in a virtual game is not really a big deal and won't make me a saint but at least I'm trying.
Well, scamming is sort of wrong.
Fellow doesn't want their hat, and I do. I give fellow weapons that he wants, fellow give me hat.
World keeps on spinnin'.
I gave one of my buds to my friend who got scammed out of his buds early mann co update.
Today I also kicked ass as sniper.
Just realized this but the guy I scammed for the buds is the guy who scammed my friends buds. :v:

Scam hats, sell hats for money for a new calculator. And I've had the same calculator for 2 years!

If that is so, then congratulations. You just got the scammer scammed.
Which is pretty ironic because scammers don't get scammed.
To anyone who thinks they can, try to scam this guy. http://www.tf2items.com/profiles/76561197970352115
VINTAGE max head, v big kill, and unusual democrown.
I do believe he knows the value of the items.
Good luck to anyone who tries.

Oh he knows what it's worth by now.
People from the UHC have him on their friends list, so they'd tell him.
I still don't get it.
Why is one of the most ugliest hats in the game one of the most unappealing
I don't like the design of the max head, it's just really odd. I really like the earbuds design the most because it's a misc and has special particle effects that also come with it.

Eh, I'd rather just buy a new calculator than go through the trouble of making the money through selling Tf2 items..

Challenge accepted. Though I.. nevermind.
also I've never even pulled of a scam trade so I don't know why the FUCK I thought any of this was smart
Don't trade away your Max Head/Soldier Medal/Big Kill/etc.
You don't have the luck for it, don't try it anymore.

Pay 8 normal max heads....
Jeez this guy is annoying on TF2TP.
Every time he make a trade with same thing.... nobody can be give him a good enough offer for him (from normal users)
He knows a price
The Vintage Max head cost HELL-A even more than Polycount Unusual (I guess)
Wise 'real life' tip I learned from my teacher in high school: When settling on a price with someone, make sure to set the bar high in your favor, because you can only go down from there. It's okay to sound like you don't know what you're talking about, because you can prove you do by getting a good deal.
I've flipped this the opposite way for trading. Start as low as you can because if you can't go any lower, then people can only ask you for more stuff, until it's just not worth it anymore because they keep asking you to throw stuff in. Even if you embarrass yourself with your lowball and the person knows a little about trading and calls you out, you can still raise it bit by bit to get the best deal out of them.

Can someone PM some tips and servers on scamming? I promise to give a portion of my first scam.
(this is probably contradictory to my beliefs on tf2 items but i'm tired of having a shitty backpack)
I really wish I had a Max Head so I could trade it for buds and other stuff.
I had my buds scammed from me the first day of the mann-conomy update. Have been looking ever since but everyone who has buds or max head never wants to trade it.
Whats the point of even having it if you never wear it :v:
I have every good looking hat for every class but they aren't filling the gap left by the buds.
I miss my buds :saddowns:
unusual hats are gay and promos are better

Hearts toque is the best hat in the game.
