A good thing to do when you join tf2 is to NOT TRADE ANYTHING FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS. after that you will know what hats are worth and what a scammer looks like.

Yep. TF2 is a perpetual money machine. I wouldn't be surprised if you can get AT LEAST earbuds for both the M&B hats. That's a net gain of about $6.

He probably found the bill's hat once he joined the server and died- queue everyone noticing he [i]just found it[/i] and immediately think he's a newbie(which he is) and try to take it from him.

I have a fair amount of original promo hats, it seems I can't even join a server now without 50 thousand fucking trade requests offering to trade my bills & gentlemann's medal for an unusual

there is literally NO WAY that the requests would be unbearable enough for him to stop playing the game, it isn't like he was being assaulted in public for wearing shorts in the winter

It used to be $12 at most as far as I can remember. Recently, it has slipped down to $9-$10. I haven't seen anyone selling it for $8.
