Its going to someday, the basis of it, which is more or less the first promo items, are eventually going to get hoarded to the point were they are little to none left.

While we're at it, let's remove hats from item sets.
Sounds great, but we've gone too far to undo these things. It's like if they removed the Demoman because they couldn't balance him right; they spent lots of money modelling him, getting his lines, doing all the work, it'd piss off lots of people, it just wouldn't be possible.
(People paid money for the set hats, and that's why we can't undo that particular update.)

Man I would kill for a Bill's. I have 300 hours on L4D2 and counting and I bought it right after the pre-order period ended since I didn't have a credit card available at that time.
For the record I play it every day with friends and I haven't gotten bored of the entire game ever since I bought it.
And you have the Bill's on a guest pass anyway. I would even get a Paypal account up if you really want money for it.

I still can't comprehend how in the hell Max's Head climbed to being worth $101. All of my promos were either gifts from friends who were quitting or from the actual promos. I don't care what kind of price tag you put on promos, they're hats all their own and should be treated as such, not as money

It's a "rare" promo hat (rare is a relative term because it is really not hard to find one at all), meaning that you can never get another one because no more will be made, so the only way to get one is to trade for it, which makes the value skyrocket to ABSOLUTELY PANTS-ON-HEAD RETARDED LEVELS, because the TF2 economy is more broken than the weapons in the game itself.
Bills hat looks nice when painted, though personally find the Juju a lot cooler (in terms of all class hats)
