No, at least, not on the server I was on just now. Spawned with a flamethrower using eyelander animations.
Actually it's not god mode exactly, but they can take much more damage.
What about some sort of 'wink murder' kind of game:
Everybody is a spy, and friendly fire is on. One player has to kill maybe 4 or 5 people, and the other players have to kill the murderer before the killer reaches his target amount of kills. To make it harder, accidental arrests go towards the total kill count.
I just love this game mode so much, after I played one round, I favorite'd the server
There's another idea, why not add a mini-boss event at half of the tf2ware? Say, when you have 10 points, a mini-boss event with 2 or 3 points, then continue to 20 instead of the original 18 points.
A friend of mine had an idea to have a mini-boss which involved doing two minigames at once, for example, avoiding the water and getting a taunt in in time, etc.
Anyway as one of my first TF2Ware contributions I've basically completed moving the code to separate include files so they aren't bunched in a large if nest as they used to be. This means we should be able to crank out minigames faster. In addition, my first test of a splash screen during the waiting for players timer:

Time to tweak some of the minigames I think need a bit of work (simon says could have more sayings, for example).

Sorry about the skippiness, that's probably just the demo being dumb.

Oh and, it's processing. So it'll be low quality.
Boss minigame suggestion: everybody is put onto a "checker" board where the individual squares fall randomly, last one still on the checkerboard wins.
Funny you should mention it, that's basically the Red Floor microgame. That's the thought I had in mind when I first made it anyway.
I should tweak the red floor boss to do that instead, that'd probably solve all issues with it!

This sounds good. I've been playing with the thought of having bigger-than-normal-microgames-but-smaller-than-boss-games microgames. First thing that came to mind was a sort of duel where if the game ended in a draw, the tied players would face it off. Although I'm not sure it'd be executed too well but I'll keep it in mind.
Do you like my video at least? <3
is there any way to do like a game similar to prop hunt where it forces some set of people as props and the rest as any class with melee in a room full of the same prop (like all barrels). The props are forced to stay still and its just a quick find them type thing. prop get a point if alive at the end finders get a point for finding one. Probably a really dumb idea and phrased Ive most likely phrased this sentence like i ride the short bus.
Idea; Everyone is given a random class, and one person is a spy in disguise, then you have to find and kill him first.
Can we get the old win,lost,speed-up,boss sounds i liked them better or just the boss one.
just played this for the first time since ages, it was awesome

id imagine that to be unfair on the spy as in a busy match he WILL die and no points to him plus the dude hes disguised as will get an advantage if they spot there own name. Also it force team switching which inst to bad if not all one team could see the spy easily. but to fair probably as flawed as my idea any who.

Well maybe 3 or 2 spies and a short timer once the small timer is done they win and the other people don't get any points.
am I the only one who actually prefers the new music, by the way?
I'm not sure about the new music myself. I sorta liked the old set. Maybe it'll grow on me (wasn't my idea to use new music :P)

Fun fact: that was the kamikaze game in its early stage.
As a boss level, how about a a rocketclimbing map or something, first one to the top wins, but there are traps and hidden floor to knock you down or something.

The Red Floor microgame is now this. Give it a spin, it's on the servers!
It looks pretty nifty, but not something I'd play multiple times.
Awesome! Epic work once again Mecha
anime icons and furry tail scout woop

I know, but I would still like a large falling checkerboard better. Not just four panels, but like 60.

Also, what the hell is pull3 and why is it on the map voting?

If you're referring to the tfgn server, I know the map selection is horrible. I'm working on it. Eventually the selection will be top-notch...
plz make a server like this:
tf2ware — 60min or more
other maps — 90min or less
that would be cool.
or make normal rock the vote (some servers have nominate command)
Hey, I know the Texas server has an absolutely horrendous map selection--melee_ringing, pull3_tf2, and broken zf_dustbowl. People always leave when it moves to these maps, and with perfectly good reason. If anyone would like to make suggestions about maps they think would work well as "breathers" in between tf2ware sessions that would be great. I'm not exactly sure what maps would work the best.
I was thinking maybe some stock arena maps might be nice, but well-made custom maps like maybe plr_whalerace could work, perhaps?

It actually sounds pretty cool, even separate from the kamikaze thing. Maybe with the name "spycheck"
