Hats under 800 polygons. Is that counting tris or what?

True that Kiamberm, anything that's from another game won't make it in either cos then Valve has to get the copywrites to use it etc. So don't count on getting the Dead Space outfit in :P The Samurai helmet is over 3k tris, and is my largest poly count hat, so that won't be getting in unless I fix that up :P

Are there any beginer tutorials for making for making models/textures/what ever for hats? The new blog post has made me want to make a hat and upload it.

Wait so can we make custom weapon stats too or just models? And if we make a custom weapon I assume all the coding needs to be shit already in game? Also I looked for tf\scripts\items\items_game.txt but it's a .ctx not a .txt.
I wish my eyelander axe didn't look so crap. I'd submit that otherwise.
