Dumb question warning.
BUT is that shine effect on the tip of the knife with a custom skin or the knife it self, maybe even none of the above and just something in TF2 I've not noticed before.
- Thanks
Special weapons shine.
Do you have any idea how much work we put into that?
At one point it was just me and another guy keeping the entire thing afloat.
I hate people who seem to think that moderating the wiki is a breeze.
Well sorry, jeeze.

Do want.:saddowns:
Only that knife sparkles. It is a sparkly reward.
HOLY SHIT NINJAS
Well sorry, jeeze.
It's not just you.
People seem to think it entails no work.
It just drives me mad.

Check http://www.tf2wiki.net/wiki/Developer_weapons for a first person view of a knife and flamethrower.

Nothing. Just freezes and does nothing.
Nothing. Just freezes and does nothing.
not even an error message? no loading past the splash screen thing or a black screen? odd...
No it plays but sometimes it just freezes. I just made it to the Citadel but the game froze on the cinematic video 3 times. Then when I got past it, the game froze when talking to the Cortana-like woman. I officially gave up then.
This is some serious derail.

Pretty annoying.
Well fuck me sideways and call me Nancy.
In that case, I call Taggarts Kukrate as a skin for the machete. I just love it in general.
Blast from the past
actually I'm so gonna upload that shit
need to edit the model a bit first though

The ammo bandito sound would be better, but I can't find it anywhere. If you can find it for me, I'd happily have that one.
Alright, I have no idea.
I've created a simple hat for The Heavy. I added a UV map. I compiled everything successfully. However, for some damn reason the textures won't work. Looking at how the default pink/black material is positioned I can tell the UV map is there. Though no matter what I do, no matter what files I pick or what I write in the vmt files, it never works. I'm fed up with it. This is how it looks like in the model viewer:

And this is what I have in the qc file:
$cd "D:\Documents and Settings\blabla\blabla\Tf2 Replace Models\Heavy\Extracted models"
$modelname "player\items\heavy\heavy_ushanka.mdl"
$model "body" "heavy_ushanka_reference.dmx.smd"
$cdmaterials "models\player\items\heavy\"
$hboxset "default"
$hbox 0 "bip_head" -5.529 -11.041 -8.136 5.529 0.000 4.110
// Model uses material "models\player\items\heavy\heavy_ushanka.vmt"
$surfaceprop "cloth"
$illumposition 2.008 0.000 5.519
$sequence idle "idle" fps 30.00
$collisionmodel "phymodel.smd" {
$mass 5.0
$inertia 1.00
$damping 0.00
$rotdamping 0.00
}
It doesn't work when I put my own vtf and vmt files or when I use the Ushanka's.
I'd appreciate any help.
Managed to optimize my Beatbacker down from 1700 polys to roughly 1000. Still over the recommended amount but I can't do much else without compromising any semblance of quality. If any of my hats have a chance then this is my best bet.

I can't say your model isn't well made... However, have you tried giving it a tone of black that fits the TF2 theme better? The color just looks a bit out of place.
Hi everyone. I have got a request for the Camera beard. How about a White rose on the Spy's Chest?

I like it, it's nice and simple, and would look great.

You've already set the material folder.
Don't do it again, you just want heavy_ushanka.vmt
It's an attached particle effect.
It animates too.
American, French, Spanish, and Iraqi flag.

I will not be associated with the Soviets and Germans.
I actually find that quite offensive.
