Pretty cool, Valve wouldn't accept it though. As it makes the medic harder to recognice, and not to mention how it somewhat resembles the pyro. Also, all medic's facialanimations would be rendered useless. Might still be well enjoyed as a mod though, which I'm sure is what you intend it to do :v:

Oh shit, phonetic spelling disorder strikes again.
I did the uvwrap in maya which produced a circle mirror for both the top and bottom, I would of liked it if it was in strips but I'm working with what I can at the moment.

One of the things my modeling friend said was that he would have to animate it.
But if you equip a player model to a character via the way hats are, the model bends and moves exactly as the character does. So in theory you'd just need to model a trenchcoat over the Spy, then delete the Spy model. Then equip it. It should bend and move with the Spy near-perfectly.
Would be a nice Misc. Slot.
P.S. I know very little about modeling. More of a texture, hexing guy when it comes to this area.

So I'm ready to submit my hat, but I'm a tad confused (read: i'm pretty retarded) about which files to submit. For the model, is just the .smd and the .qc fine? And for the texture, I noticed .vtf isn't listed, would that mean we should convert the vtf to a tga and submit it along with the vmt?

Is UV mapping easier to do in Maya? 3ds Max decides to take my poor model and break it every time I try to UV map it.

Depends, I'm more use to maya but I didn't know how it's uvwrap system worked at the time, so I spent an hour looking it up.
It did give better results than 3ds though.

This might sound odd, but couldn't you just use one big ass image that was image mapped in Image Ready or Fireworks?
If someone can find me a CLEAR image of fire in Loz wind waker, then i will try to make it look better because it needs a lot of improving

I would suggest not allowing reposts [sp]Neo[/sp] from previous emporiums into present emporiums.
Yes, he wants to get his best stuff recognized, but things like the patriotic patroller were from Daimao's mod emporium, so that shouldn't really even have made it past the first mod emporium...
