Valve should make a male/female selection for players, and have an entire model set for female versions. It'd add some variety.

It'd be cool if Valve added an option to switch between a class' gender. There's already alot of female versions around, so it wouldn't be too hard to do that, I guess.

As for the actual animation, has anyone done animation for source? I've never done it myself and I have no clue how simple/easy/hard/ect it is.

Here's a couple progress screenshots, I've been working on this a bit (in the process of moving right now, so I might be a little slow.)
What I have is a pretty basic block-in, and from here I can start to adjust the form and stuff. Still no hair, the ear isn't attached, and there's only half of a rough scarf, but that's my next big part to work on.

I took my first modeling course recently and I can tell you that it is a pain in the ass. :gonk: I have so much respect for people who can do this kind of stuff as it requires an assload of patience.

I also just realized, in a few years all my models will be female :3 (that's if you go ahead and make female models for all of the classes)

As we all know, time and practice will learn. It's really fun to model stuff once you get the hang of it.
