I'm back to work on this, hopefully with no more interruptions. Here's my current progress with another variation that focuses on preserving the similarity between the male and female Spy silhouettes. I'll reserve sharing my thoughts on it, to hear what you guys think.

Also, if you're interested or know someone who is interested in voicing her, it would be good to start early with that process. Ideally, I'd like to be able to share some voice clips with the community and get some feedback on her voice before they're all recorded this time.
since she is french she must have a gratuitous amount of arm, leg, and armpit hair

also her head makes her look like a man, she needs bigger lips and more feminine eyes
Looks exquisite as always Alia!

Lol, I'm saving that for the Sniper. But you won't really see her eyes, but they'll look much more feminine when they're colored and she has like, eyelashes and makeup. The lips, I don't want them full.
How about not having the glasses on her from the start, but rather as a replacement for the Gibus or something? That way you give way for other modders to add onto her when other hats are rleased.
how about try different glasses? shades?

There has to be something to conceal her face, and glasses would work the best.
Oh, haven't seen this thread in a while.
Shoulders look too pointy, face is a bit too masculine.
Who use female models anyway
Try some cat-eye glasses

The proportions look better in the beltless coat. The belted coat has a bit too pronounced shoulders.

I like the smaller shoulders, but I'm hoping they work. A boxier frame might allow me to get a wider shoulder without it being too conspicuous, but I have to be careful of the bone structure for rigging. It's already cutting close to the limit.

Medic has cat-eye glasses, so it might not be wise to use something similar. If you look up 60's fashion sunglasses, feel free to shoot me any suggestions you like.

Lol?
May I just suggest making the faces a bit blanker too, the model looks like it's got a slight smile to it. While this may add to character, reference models are meant to have completely emotionless faces.

It won't matter, don't worry. I was actually advised by a Valve artist that it's okay to put a little expression into the default face, when I was worried about the same thing. I'll be re-modeling each facial expression, so this will have no effect on the others. I keep the mouth a little open too, so there's no overlap when trying to grab the vertices of the lips.
I would make the head wrap a hat and keep her normal model wrapless, would make it easier for other hats.
Bigger tits needed.
Prepare for agrees.

In all seriousness, I know the silhouette has to match and all, but she looks bizarre with such giant shoulders and such narrow hips.
Also I think the boobs may be too big.

I thought they could be smaller too, lol. But one of the purposes of the blocky coat is to help with the "necessary huge shoulders" problem, it allows the torso to be wider and more top heavy and alleviates some of that weirdness.
Incidentally, the size of her boobs and the fact that her hips are wider in the left version is an attempt to balance out the shoulders. Unfortunately, I wanted her to be more lanky. :C
Combine the thin waist of the first version with the buttoned up trenchcoat of the second version.
Also, her boobs and shoulders are both too wide. She's got man shoulders right now.

I have man shoulders irl.
I quite like the buttoned up coat version.
Yeah the coat is better then the one that shows the tits.
For some reason I get a malware warning from the images in the OP.
Anyone getting this? I use Chrome.
yep same thing - seems like an iframe to koopasomething.com I guess.

Go watch some porn and stop trying to ruin a perfectly fine model.

I really do like the button down coat more.
It's very classy, and I honestly see less of the shoulder problem.
