They look sort of similar but definitely not worth mentioning.
They have similar noses and mouths. Other than that not very similar.
Done unwrapping, and I've added solid test colors to see how things look. I remodeled her sunglasses, but her scarf still requires attention. It should look better once it has more visible folds, though. I was also thinking of making the stripes on her legs wider, just wanted to throw some detail on to see what people think. This color scheme is closely based on the colors of the original Spy.

that's damn awesome

The maroon of the scarf looks a bit too out of place, I think.
I still think her face is too "unmasked" for the lack of a better word...
Could you perhaps make the scarf go further down on the top part of her face?
Not sure if that would be enough to make a difference, but it's worth a shot.

Not sure why it looks so maroon, it's actually color dropped from the Spy's mask v: I blame the crappy lighting rig I'm using for the test renders, the lights are tinted warm and cause color shifts. I'll want to get it in the HLMV as soon as possible, since the colors always look totally different with TF2lighting/shading. Ambient occlusion should help, too.
Are the glasses still just a placeholder :v:?
'cause I'd like the brim better in a color other than black.

No, I re-modeled them yesterday. The colors are all just a color scheme test, though . I was gonna try it with a dark team color on the frames. Nothing so bright that it competes with the scarf, but just a little saturation.

Ah, well if it's just the lighting then I'll reserve judgement on the colour.

Ah.
I like the shape better now, however I still think they'd look better being just slightly thicker. It would make the brim more noticable, and it would make the glasses look more like they're resting on her nose.
I also think you should have them colored rather than black.
From my memory also backed up by some of your reference pictures, always pictures these glasses in color. I don't think the color should blend in too much with the scarf, but I do think they should blend in somewhat.
If by similarities you mean they both have human faces and sunglasses, then I guess I can see it.
John Lennon didn't wear sunglasses, he wore tinted glasses.

Ugh, whatever.

Too bad we can't do separate models by team.

Yes. Whenever you and AyesDyef successfully feminize the entire team, I'd love for Valve to implement that option.
Also this is coming along really nice, keep up the good work.
Could you please make an alternate hat like substtance as a head wrapless?
I am loving your model so far, but I think the head wrap squishes her head a bit to much.
Just a suggestion from me.

I noticed you returned to the longer tail on the back of the hood. It looks fantastic!
Great work by the way and congratulations on the Polycount contest!
With the open coat jacket, she seemed to have more curvy-ness to her. The pea coat seems to have lost a bit of that. Might I suggest something like this?

She seems to need a more cartoony look, with slightly exaggerated curves. The shortened tail on the hood was just me messing around to see what it looks like.
Either way the hood looks good short or long, purely up to you. Everything else looks perfect.
Keep up the good work.

Sorry, you might need to rephrase that question. Are you asking for a hat that would replace the scarf? Because if so, I don't think that's possible.

Isn't it obvious?

So her without the jacket? I think that'd be a bit raunchy and distracting.

So basically through so many words, you're asking for bigger boobs.

In short terms yes, but not for the sake of more "sexy/fappable/revealing", but for the art design of TF2's proportions. Her previous jacket had more curves to it, fitting more a female spy, seductive for her while dashing for him. And the pea coat made her look a tad "scientist's jacket"
Just saying.

I'm sorry. In clear words, I meant I hoped for some alternate release with hair, if doable.
My apolagies.
Do female Pyro
wait......

Oh, gotcha. I can do that, though I probably won't go as far as to change the hair she has underneath the scarf too much (which is a short style to avoid clipping).

I have a small issue with giving her more prominently defined boobs with what she's wearing right now. One is that this kind of coat is a fairly straight and loose piece of fabric and hides curves more than it reveals them. I wear this kind of coat all the time in the winter, and I know that it would be very unnatural to show boob definition from the side like that. I didn't mind having them showing more on the old design, because it makes sense with that one.
I can see what it looks like by bring the whole upper chest area out some more, though I don't want her to lose the lanky quality.

I've actually somewhat figured out a way to seperate teams into gender... It's just... a really big resource hog XD

Easy, just replace the purse in the locker room with a jockstrap.
Valve should hire all who are making great female players for tf2!
Alia, if you ever do a female Pyro... please make her have wide hips :3:
Is it possible to replace existing props in TF2 with new models?
I think that if someone released a female Pyro, it would be really neat if they replaced the purse with a jockstrap :v:
