That's not the point. There are some items that should be and some that shouldn't. If it's between some devil horns that should be restricted and a pirate hat. Clearly the devil horns shouuld be restricted. It's all been done already so there's nothing we can do about it. But it's clear to everyone it's a little silly. The fact that the restricted items were for a Halloween update should not be the deciding factor.

It is an item that is part of a Cthulu set. It was submitted for a halloween update, and the author(s) knew that it would be restricted. There's no ifs, ands, or butts about it. The horns are just horns. They don't affect gameplay in any way. The Scout Xenomorph set does. The Octodad and the Xenomorph head are both gigantic full-head covering cosmetics that completely change the shape of every head for every class. The horns don't. If that's not a good enough argument for people about this subject, how about this one?: TF team decides what is and isn't restricted. It sucks that the items you don't want restricted are restricted, I know the feeling. I would give anything for the Tricky Chicken and Hundkopf to be unrestricted, but they aren't. That's just how life is. Complaining about items that aren't restricted but you think should be or criticizing Valve/the TF Team for it isn't going to change anything.

So I haven't played TF2 for a while but received the Brimstone horns. Will they be tradable in the future (after a patch)?

Why didn't they pick more items? Kinda seems dumb to limit it to three. There are also the people who only buy games for promos, they would make a lot more sales if there were say maybe 10 or so items.

The others will just receive money whenever the items are bought in the shop.

Straps/pistol holders AND a pair of boots? The edgy scouts are probably rock hard right now.
