Thats all I ask!
Final designs before Ertz and I eventually start work on the Bushman Bandit set re-hash:

Skip the first style with the poncho going over everything.
It gives players the option to mix and match items.
And Valve has abandoned styles for years now.
If you have a version with the poncho covering the front, have a red stripe going down too? Keep the colour identification good.
-snip-
I have to let you know that similar poncho (style 1) is being currently made.
Considering that style 1 is intended to be homage to the original version of the Paynesville Poncho, which has been on the workshop for almost 2 years now, I highly doubt that it would be concern of ours to be worried about someone else doing a poncho.

Also as suggested by Dutchman above, style 1 might be scrapped. We'll wee when we get to that point however, whether or not we do it anyways. If we do scrap the covered chest version, we might include a texture change style instead, plenty of things we could do.

What ever happened to your pirate set?
Why does the rifle have a bolt thing
The model originally had a bolt on the side due having to work within stock animations, however valve made animations for the high noon which can be found in the game files. Upon proper inspection of the animations, you will see that they actually make use of the bolt to pop out the cylinder on the side.

I posted this video a few pages back, you can clearly see the bolt moving as the cylinder is popped out. This is why we are keeping the bolt on the design.

No, they aren't up for grabs. You'd know this if you used your eyes.

i'd call that one of the more clever uses of paintability.

No, you need a maxipad for that.

Almost finished, just a couple more things to finish up and then the textures will be done. I am considering lightening up the gun metal, and i have to get the envmaptint right, but other than that the textures are done.
Feedback?
The brushwork on the metal seems too uh... small? And the brush strokes on the wood should conform with the curves.
Also the engraving(?) looks like a vinyl transfer or sticker. Make it thinner and add a normal map to it like the ambassador.

The engraving is normal mapped, but from this angle i dont think it shows that it is bump mapped or something. Ill look into it though. And I like the brushwork on the metal, but i will definitly change the wood strokes
*Answered already, thanks*
EDIT: I guess I should have been more clear than that, I do have one, but it's national and won't be recognized by Steam.
Guess I'll just pay the five hundred bucks fine for breaking the contract, oh joy.
Kudos for the fellas who answered me.
What happens is you go get a bank account, at a guess.

same as before. wood doesnt look like wood, please take a look at how "black" metal has been done in the past, the brushwork doesnt even remotely look decent because you are not suposed to randomly add noise, you need to sit and consider if the weapon itself needs to be aged by the brushwork, if the metal is worn out, or if the gun is suposed to be brand new.
the grip, as i mentioned before, looks unnatural and doesnt seem to fit a revolver of this size, neither as it being some sort of metal with a wooden cover or shape-wise - specially for the gap between the trigger guard and the wooden part of the handle, wich aparently seems to be there for no reason at all and doesnt add anything to the overall weapon desing(nor should exists to begin with). the grip's purpose, after all, is to help you absorb the gun's recoil without breaking your wrist in the process.
the edgewear makes no sense either. while the drum on a revolver will certainly get some edgewear over the use of the weapon in those areas, there is no reason for it to exist on the tip of the trigger and nowhere else. edgewear is there to tell a story as to how the weapon has been handled over time, so if you just put white lines randomly not only you dont tell anything about the gun's history, but rather make it look like its made of plastic. people told you that the edgewear's color should be as subtle as posible for a reason.
the engraving is complety off and serves no purpose either, since it doesnt seem to be add anything to the weapon's concept. if you still insist on mgiving it an engraving, you actually need to think a pattern that would suit the engraving as if the spy itself did it, rather than simply copy and paste a random shape on the barrel and call it a day. just doing the latter is exremely lazy and doesnt make your item instantly cool.

I am going to keep the engraving the way it is, however, thank you for mentioning the other things, i will be sure to take a look at them.

If you insist on keeping it you might want to make it not look all thick and jagged.
There is also a slightly visible UV seam that might prove troublesome in 1st person
Noticed it scrolling past and it bugged me, so it can be noticed without closely scrutinising the texture.

Actually there are a lot of strange duplication of paint strokes on the gun. Are you stacking lots of UV shells, or cloning things in photoshop?
Think you can post a picture of your UV layout?

Didn't get as far into texturing as I'd hoped, but I'm out of free time for now.
