The little thing you disconnected from the actual shotgun is just hanging there, and that's where the shotgun shells go when you load them. Its still considered a magazine for a weapon if I'm not wrong, though the spring system is internal to the weapon so maybe not

Cool, looks pretty good for that low poly. I would consider doing a couple of subdivides on the bigger features of the model to make it look a little more dense (To me right now it kinda looks like it was whittled out of a stick) but other than that keep at it.
On another note, i've decided to rework the scattterstrike textures and re-release it along with two other items i'm working on for a thug themed set for scout.
Primary: The Scatterstrike
Secondary: Throw-able Molotov cocktail. I understand that grenades were taken out of the game due to the fact that they proved to be catastrophic during gameplay, but i was thinking more along the lines of a mad milk/jarate sized explosion, and whoever was in the radius would take some burn damage and be set on fire. It would allow me to experiment with custom particles too
Melee: Nail bat. Kinda self explanatory (Pointy end gets swung at other man)
Let me know what you think, ill have WIP shots of the models soon

The technical term is [URL="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuller_(weapon)"]fuller[/URL] or the blade has been "fullered".
Though "blood groove" is a slightly apocryphal reference to allowing to blood to drain away or releasing the vacuum when the blade is plunged into the flesh etc.

A molotov for Scout? That would basically make Scout into an annoying hit n run Pyro.
A Pyro with a molotov might be interesting though.

Try clearing out your sound.cache files. Those break whenever something major happens to the sound files, like, for instance, the pointless conversion of half of them to .mp3 files. Don't worry, the game will rebuild the cache files once you boot it back up, and it should work.
If not that, try checking to see if the soundfile is of correct bitrate and all that other jazz, that can cause a few problems as well.

Even if it may not work as an in-game item, more models can only be helpful for use in sfm promos, videos and posters.

Those suspenders look far too big to go over the Scout's torso properly. Make them shorter.

Will you be adding this to the SFM workshop? Cause I could see that being used in a scene if the engi is working on an engine or something. Just curious, it's excellently well made.
