Looks great. How does it look on an SFM Sniper? I ask because a lot of items that are tight against playermodels seem to clip pretty harshly on SFM models for some reason. I use the TIP SFM playermodels, so it kind of irks me sometimes when that happens. See: Snow Scoper and Mr. Mundee's Wild Ride for example
I thought hand miscs would warrant more of a problem since they were made for the low poly hands.
excuse me but why would a wrestler wear a poncho
That poncho was made mainly to go with the Hat with No Name, the Mask is supposed to be a misc by the way.
You must have one talented brother
actually this is my own texture, he's gonna do his own later for whatever reasons, i just got impatient and used it as an excuse to practice
That poncho was made mainly to go with the Hat with No Name, the Mask is supposed to be a misc by the way.
Then why are they together as an item set if one item is meant to go with another?
Then why are they together as an item set if one item is meant to go with another?
honestly i think the mask would look good under the hat with no name, along with the poncho. but that could just be me.

Okay guys, specific request today. I'm working on an article about Steam Workshop for a Czech games magazine and I'd like to accompany it with an interview. And who should I talk to if not to creators of the very finest hats and accessories?! It would be just a few questions and it wouldn't take long. Only two things I want are: you have to have an item/s in-game and you aren't shy to share how much you've made from it/them (approx.). Other than that I don't want any personal info, just to chat about TF2, Workshop, Valve involvement and maybe other things. If you would like to participate, PM me here / add me on Steam or answer with an e-mail so I can send you the questions once I have them ready. Thank you in advance!

Hi. I want to become a TF2 modeler, could someone be my mister miyagi and teach me the ways?
Hi. I want to become a TF2 modeler, could someone be my mister miyagi and teach me the ways?
step 1: open blender step 2: make the model step 3: publish step 4: wait
step 1: open blender step 2: make the model step 3: publish step 4: wait
seems legit.
Hi. I want to become a TF2 modeler, could someone be my mister miyagi and teach me the ways?
There are plenty of youtube tutorials and steam guides out there for the basics. People here will help you with specific stuff but I doubt anyone is going to completely teach you every single thing.
Hi. I want to become a TF2 modeler, could someone be my mister miyagi and teach me the ways?
Check Page 1, There are lots of instructions. Check out HellJumpers video and so on and so on
seems legit.
It's difficult starting out. Load up blender and helljumper's tutorials. Those can teach you basics, but the best lessons are the ones you teach yourself. The more experience you get under you belt by just trying to model different things, the more you'll pick up along the way. Don't be afraid to try new things and don't be afraid to ask for help either. In other news! Or have them be rounded indents instead of sharp grooves.

since the third cosmetic adds so much to the hands, it seems like a wasted chance not to modify the shoes as well and make thme part of the character's anatomy(s if they were more robotic). (if the polys allow it, of course)

My only comment is it looks empty without a 3D skybox (or much of one?) which I assume you're still to work on by the 95% part?
I'm still open to changes on the model, but I've also been experimenting with the textures. I am having trouble bringing out the handle; it feels a little weird to me atm. Any thoughts? (3D)
