Since "Spai" is taken the only obvious choice left would be "Sy"
No one has a copyright on the name "spai", there's nothing against him naming it that

I mean, how many "professional's standard" items are there on the workshop

How could i make the joke if we went by that logic

Tekpi and Sai are the same tool / weapon, and neither variation is typically sharpened, so neither really seem more apt than the other as a name source.
I'd call it - The Shinobi Skewer

The Sly Sai
(The Spy's Sly Sai)

Also made some promo art for it.
It also seems to be an issue of whether the obvious spy puns that could be made ought to be in the title. I like the sly sai, but then the shinobi skewer sounds like it's taking itself a bit more seriously.

The shot itself looks really good, but the image is quite pixelated.

The Fedora doesn't fit, the filter takes the focus off the weapons
[edits, because grammar. blah]
I can't just go and use someone else's work as Workshop submission, you know.
Yeah, it is unused in the main game, but it doesn't gives me a permission to use it as "my own work". So, i think its either make the one from zero, either just let it use default.
Well Valve may not saying that he should use it.
The Fedora doesn't fit
Yeah, I would suggest using one of these instead:

It's pixelated because I scaled it down to not take up as much space when I posted it here. :P

Unfortunately the textures for that one are broken in sfm, I haven't found a fix for it on the workshop or elsewhere yet.
dirty peasants ignoring the noh mercy.
Correction, I have noh mercy for the noh mercy. I like it when I can see the spy's arrogant glare. It's why I love him and everyone else hates him ;)

Eh, i sort of think the white headband contrasts with the rest of the image too much. Everything else is dark and warmish then you have a blob of pure white distracting from the weapons.
Could just be me though.

Tundra Boy could we see a version without any hat? Just curious.
[t]http://manschitz.com/projects/tf2/Workshop_Sai_Poster01.jpg[/t]
No hats. Needs a different background, though.
Here is what i think to do as projectile, does it looks too close to default one? Maybe i should tweak something?

A lack of hat is the best kind of hat.
Should change the lighting, add rim light and remove the awk lighting you've got atm that shines phong all over his face, you'd probably also be better off with using the hwm spy model
Please help :suicide:
Just select the button completely, remove it from all vertex groups, then select it again, and just apply to the vertex group of the bone you want it to move with.
(at least that's how i did with Blender, on practice. Soooo don't throw anything at me pros :c)
How do I rig buttons?
You can probably select the coat's vertex, that is the closest to one of the buttons, and copy its vertex weights to all vertices of the said button, and repeat it with other buttons.
The only thing I am sure about is that all vertices of the same button must have identical vertex weights so it wouldn't get bent.
also moving the buttons around is a good idea if the button's in a really bad spot for rigging, can make your life loads easier by just parenting it to a single vertex group
