Thumbnails are thumbnails - they're gussied up and not representative of the item in game.
A full body, in-engine shot of the model with each item individually would be nice.

-pulls out zatoichi, says line 1, thrusts it in himself but the moment it pierces his skin he lets go and makes pain noises (the sword is still lodged in him during this), after a moment he pulls it out and says line 2
basically he attempts honor suicide and stops because he didn't expect swords to be so SHARP
i realize VA lines that aren't already in game would have to be recorded by valve but i feel they contribute to what the emotion/animation of the taunt would be like. line 1 would be things like "I have dishonored this entire unit", pain lines would either be long hurt vocalizations or rapid succession of short "burn damage" lines (AH OO EE AHH OW). line 2 is just something like "that smarts"
...it's really funny in my head, i swear

Most of the weapons people make for TF2 rely on using animations currently in game. It is possible to create and implement your own custom animations, but that is extra work, out of the skill-set of many modelers, and Valve seems hesitant about adding new weapon animations (though they have [URL="http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/594740593177322808/FE719CD4447762913CB2DCCBE1AA63164F8DB0A6/"]implied[/URL] otherwise).
Tundra Boy could ask to borrow the animations created by Giant Shortstacks for [URL="https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=119908628&searchtext="]The Double Header[/URL], but I don't think duel wielding is necessary and it would look strange for a gun with a flashlight.

Something about the barrel of the gun doesn't look right, functionality wise, but I can't say what it is. Maybe its the space between the front and back of the barrel, but that's certainly possible, right?

I feel like it wouldn't be a great idea for a taunt to use an ingame weapon without it being equipped.

Always do like to see TFC mods! Out of curiosity, do any of the items support paint and if so, could I see the helmet painted in black? (hopefully the white helmet parts are the paintable parts, all the better to resemble the TFC Medic.)

The only thing that bothers me about that set(other than the floaty knee pad) is the mask's filter looking way more cartoony than you'd expect. Feels like you took a few more liberties with the original desing than necesary just to not look like the source, wich in the end made it look rather silly upclose.

It was originally intended much more flat and angled to match TFC medic's mask more but changes were made to it so it fit the art style better, also it was made bigger at the bottom so it could properly fit over his face without requiring large amounts of flexes. Further changes were also made by the modeler, which made it seem more round that it was intended to be.

Rozzy asked me if he could work on the set, disappeared for about two days, then came back with a mostly finished version of the set. What you see in the submission has a few texture changes that I asked him to make last minute, but there wasn't much that I could do to ask him to tweak the mask's shape properly as he had already UV'd and fully textured the helmet.
Regardless it still turned out nicely in the end, and I'd say its pretty easy to overlook the few flaws it has. Not everything can be perfect anyways.
Its more or less the filters being that small and the weird grill at the front what actually makes it look rather odd. It doesnt look like a fuctional gas mask filter, but rather like some random puece of kitchenware attached to his face.
At least as far as i can tell, the original tfc medic was desugned with such thing in mind in order to reinforce a more menacing look, just like how tf2 medic wears glasses to reinforce a more refined/smarter look compared to the rest of his teammates.
In any case anything said at this point is nerely a personalpoint of view. i doubt there is room for changes given the ítem is already published

Byte'd Beak is a woefully underrated robo hat. It combos well with a LOT of medic cosmetics. Shame it can't be unboxed as an unusual.
