Yes I was too lazy to add a picture.
Are the TIP HWM playermodels going to be updated eventually? The new taunts don't work with them. Plus, is there any way that could be avoided?
This thing is nearing completion: [t]http://puu.sh/hBx87/45e23a857d.jpg[/t] Will probably end up tweaking the wood some more at least Also Taco is working on some really neat looking custom animations: Also for a mod version I'll end up making a hinging version so that it can be used like that

Especially when they don't even work on the majority of the servers people play on anymore. Maintaining these things has just become further and further demoralizing as the years have gone on, and it's getting to the point where the effort is no longer worth the reward. That's certainly how I feel about it, but I of course can't speak for Zombie. I'd say don't hold your breath though.
nice, viewmodel is ambassador tier in viewblocking though
If you mean the video, that's cropped from sfm since replacing the stock animations won't work as it loops in those, which ours doesn't If you mean the model on a whole I don't quite see where you're coming from since the model is the same length, but about half the height of the loch n load
would this look better to fix the neck issue or would it be better to extend the collar up to cover up the fat neck

dear god this is exactly what I was imagining yessssss

Well, Py-Bun said I should share these concepts here since she might not be able to get around them for a long time, if at all. They are a Woodstock inspired loadout (hair and glasses), shirt, and feet. And the 2nd one is a halloween concept for another comic book character *cough*. http://imgur.com/a/UQP8J
Question, do any of you really think any of these weapons will ever get into TF2? Not being facetious, I'm being serious, Valve's lazy on balancing, Hats are easier to put into the game than new guns.
Is the wear on the cross, arrows, and lettering to much? I wasn't sure how to go about doing a weathered looking effect for TF2. [t]https://i.imgur.com/ZdswKbQ.png[/t] EDIT: Should I just scrap the wear completely?
The "painterly" style is very important in TF2. Weathering is best left "suggested" rather than shown. Broad brush strokes, that sort of thing. Take a look at the weathing on stock weapons like the minigun, flamethrower, et cetera. They have places where the metal and paint are worn down, but always in that "painterly" manner where exact details are lacking, and instead you just get regions of discoloration and the occasional bit of missing paint (although always in large-ish chunks). Your weathering is very nice looking and well done, but it's too "realistic" in style. It looks more like something from Half-Life 2 than from Team Fortress 2.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/yM6zS9p.png[/t] I definitively think it looks better than the previous wear, as its a bit more in line with the art style, but I don't know if its "good". It's also a lot less harsh in terms of wear.
Text needs to be thicker
I upped the phongboost a bunch, does it look better?
Text needs to be thicker
This, and try to change that font too, try Helvetica.
This, and try to change that font too, try Helvetica.
I couldn't find Helvetica, wasn't already on my machine and all the places I looked for it wanted me to pay 30$ for it. I did manage to get the text in that font by another means [t]https://i.imgur.com/Hrz98H5.png[/t] Is the text to large now?
I upped the phongboost a bunch, does it look better?
It seems like the specular you're using is way too uniform, generally the trick to making metal look convincing is not neccesarily having high phong. High(er) contrast in the phongmask usually makes a much better look. You should take a look at the phongmask from ingame weapons, and try and get a similar look as those. I generally start from a greyscale version of my diffuse and then use several 'levels' editiors (1 per metal tint generally) to create the specular
