I've always really liked BRINK, so i decided to make a sticky grenade thing inspired by the sticky bomb in the game. Still really WIP.
Question, do any of you really think any of these weapons will ever get into TF2? Not being facetious, I'm being serious, Valve's lazy on balancing, Hats are easier to put into the game than new guns.
They're just fun to make regardless

Weapons are fun too, just because Valve doesn't add them that often doesn't mean you shouldn't make them. I mean, on the off chance valve actually does decide to add a weapon what happens? If you haven't made any then you don't have a chance of getting one in. Better to satisfy your quench to make a weapon and potentially be rewarded for it in the future, then to not make it at all and then regret that you didn't.

first concept I've done in a while. [T]http://i.imgur.com/QnTVaNw.png[/T] eh?
Arial is fairly similar to Helvetica and is installed on most machines.
Helvetica is way more sexy than Arial (Remember that Arial is just a pure and simple copy of Helvetica)
I've done two concepts for Eeshton. One's inspired off the fallout power fist, a gunslinger replacement. The piston thing will be mounted on the gauntlet. [t]http://i.imgur.com/SE6JIss.png[/t] And Eeshton wanted me to do a concept about a modular weapon. So I did this. It's the engineer's shotgun, pistol and wrench. I'm also planning to do twin ballistic fists for the heavy as an apocofists replacement. Imagine critting someone into a glorious explosion with buckshot knuckles. Edit: updated modular set with a mag on side of shotgun. I don't know what would be there on the pistol or wrench, though.
-redpixelshotty.jpg-
That shotgun lacks a magazine. For anyone looking to concept shotguns, this is how they load shells: [t]http://blog.pauldrapeau.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/hswsg.jpg[/t]

I planned on having a box mag above the thing so it was like an upside-down old bolt-action, y'know the kind that loaded with clips. There's also this type of weapon tech, called "metal storm." It stacked bullets/grenades/whatever in a single barrel and fired them with electical coils and stuff. Engie could probably do that: I'm probably going to add the upper box mag, though.
Unless you give it a box magazine which could be part of the wrench EDIT Late anyway
I made a cute gun.
That's a really nice use of the so far unused engi revolver animations.
here's the glove again on engie [T]http://i.imgur.com/SuUcEls.png[/T] might fiddle with colors a bit [T]http://i.imgur.com/GrM4lM4.png[/T] tried more subtle colors with highlights, look any better?
try a color palette that doesnt blend with the engie itself.
Anyone wanna do a poster for this? Let me know please
I've been making an alien/sci-fi-ish medigun. What do people think? 3d
[t]http://i.imgur.com/pWdQhY2.png[/t]
Wow. Way to just copy a concept I drew a while ago.
figured i might as well try coloring the glove a la vanilla. [T]http://i.imgur.com/Fn5fBb2.png[/T]
figured i might as well try coloring the glove a la vanilla. [T]http://i.imgur.com/Fn5fBb2.png[/T]
Why not just condense all of these into one post?
Why not just condense all of these into one post?
the first two did not have very outstanding colors. if the yellow one doesn't appeal either, i'll make a couple more color ideas and post them in a vote
Gloves,Gloves,GLOVESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
This isn't SPUF, you know
[t]http://i.imgur.com/1GYWzq7.png[/t] (Click to enlarge) So I made a concept for OverPovered; a nail gun for the Scout! So I get that TF2 is a game in which cartoon mercenaries violently kill each other, but can we just not design items that "glorify" (or otherwise portray in a non-negative light) notorious real life serial killers who were never caught? I mean even putting aside the real factor of potential copy-catting, it's still just in incredibly poor taste.

Referencing a serial killer isn't that far fetched.
We also have a pony hat and i dont think any other evil could possibly trump that.
We also have a pony hat and i dont think any other evil could possibly trump that.
mlp didn't invent unicorns
The Black Mesa guys have some promos up on the workshop, FYI [editline]May 2015[/editline] they've been up since march apparently, still pretty neat
