I don't think those gloves would work on Heavy either, considering not only are gloves weapons for him, but they'd clip terribly with his melee weapons since it couldn't be hidden when his melee weapons are out.
Semi-Devil May Cry/Witcher 3 inspired Demoman set that Stev and I are working on: Item separation is like this: [t]http://puu.sh/eYrol.png[/t][t]http://puu.sh/eYrp5.png[/t] There's also a grenade launcher replacement, but I haven't redrawn it yet. So here's the old image of it:
Is this better?
I think that the camo, especially on the trousers, looks too busy.
I think that the camo, especially on the trousers, looks too busy.
It's not too bad, the colours on the trousers at least aren't radical enough that they just blend in.
Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. Years ago, some people invited me to join Facepunch. After seeing that many of my favourite contributors are its members as well and watching the site as a guest for a long time, I decided to oblige missionaries of Facepunch, yet I wanted to have a item to coincide with it and, after a long delay, I managed to make one. I chose to make all-class white gloves, since they are fitting for everyone, can work very well with some loadouts and paints and, most importantly, they are just enough easy to make for an amateur like me (though they also have a downside - they don't look very great alone, without other items). [t]http://imgur.com/URluRt2.png[/t] [t]http://imgur.com/AlunOvS.png[/t] [t]http://imgur.com/2Xn1v1o.png[/t] Does anybody wish to give an advice about improving them? (the model is mostly done, the texture is not, and overall there are some more things to do)
In my honest opinion, it looks kinda off on medic and pyro. But on all the other classes it looks awesome. And these models doesnt look anywhere as an amateur model.
-sigh- I need to sleep people! I'll just leave a link. http://i.imgur.com/pBtcnAf.png See you tommorow.
It's a shame you couldn't call the hat the "Gentleman's Ushanka".
Forgive my use of memes but maybe the "Mentlegens Ushanka?" idk [sp]:[ thought not[/sp]
Ok, cleaned up the specular and diffuse a bit. I took visual pointers from the stock revolver, and applied it to the textures. List of changes: -Increased brightness of metal (copied metal color from stock revolver) -redone edges, much cleaner (diffuse and specular) -paint marks have been significantly toned down (diffuse and specular) -specular map base color has been made signifantly darker. -wood has no specularity at all (totally black on spec map) [t]http://puu.sh/eYF6L.png[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/eYMNx.jpg[/t]
I think camo just doesn't work in TF2. All classes are designed to be visible and recognizable from all distances. Camo is designed to make you blend into your environment. It can't look good in TF2.

But really, I think it looks great as is. Better than the other, gold covered designs.

The Killer's Kit works great on the Soldier, it just needs to be subtle enough to be visible but not overbearing.
[t]http://puu.sh/eYQtR.png[/t] Here is a vote for what style you all think is better on the revolver. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Can you showcase it with the Mann Co Cap (Team Spirit: RED) and The War Profiteer (A Distinctive Lack of Hue)?
If this gets in, I'll buy it from the store, right away, don't care if the item costs 20 bucks, I need this. And if it doesn't get in the game, I still want to give you money.
Let's hope that Valve does not mark as "Shirt' equip region when importing to the game.
what about salmon
No the gloves should still be white cause I wanna see the TF2 classes look like Super Mario! =D
There are items in TF2 with camo on em.
I know. And I do think that they look awful and don't fit the artstyle.
Not quite sure how I'm going to make this work properly, probably should go and redesign the connection part so it looks like engi's whole hand could fit in, so it'd make sense as a standalone melee. Otherwise switching from an amputee to a normal arm would be a little odd. But at least big drills are cool

It has the potential to look hella coolafter much fiddling or wont work at all.
